Chapter 355: All That Mattered

Nikolai blankly stared at his officials inside the throne hall. While he was having his usual daily routine of meeting with them his mind still constantly wandered toward his missing memories. And even still, despite those missing memories, he remained fascinated with how comfortable he was around his wife. There were some awkward moments with her since he couldn't remember a thing, but one thing was for sure: he liked her so much that he simply couldn't deny the strong connection he felt between them.

While he had seen some of her memories with him and he liked every bit of them, he still wanted to see more of them. It also didn't help that he didn't want to drink more of her blood despite how addicting and heavenly it was to do so. He had to control himself for fear of losing her. So he had no doubts that his Queen was someone who he could truly treasure and love.
