Chapter 1: Prologue - Arrival of the King of Sindria

In cases of Despair, he would find a solution. In difficult times, he would resolve with persistence and will. When all seemed lost, he got up and found a way.

This was the life of Sinbad, the one who was the 'Son' of fate. Some might call him the Protagonist, others extremely lucky...but none of them would be right. He knew who the True Protagonist was, and he knew the fate of everyone else who crossed his gaze.

But that never stopped him from fighting it and having his own will and dreams. He believed he would come out on top somehow, as long as he lasted long enough.

He wasn't wrong but in the end, he ended up underestimating how strong a Protagonist was. They weren't simply 'loved by fate', they had every other concept on their side.

Be it Time, Luck, Destiny, or even Death. All these concepts seemed to ignore logic and reason, helping the Protagonist even unconsciously. His defeat was the main proof of this, however much Ugo may have had a hand in this, alongside his arrogance in acquiring a Power of that level.

He had seen possible fates of his own and found that no matter what he did, his Plan would not be fulfilled. And he would return to his normal life or in cases of extremely bad luck, he would die.

And that's exactly what just happened.

''Damn it...to think that undergoing such an extreme change without pause would end up burdening my Soul...'' He hadn't considered that the Trouble was his Soul. At least not knowing how limitless and vast his Soul was.

'' Apparently, I had massive bad luck, Haha! '' Knowing he was acting in a way he normally wouldn't, he shook his head. '' Aladdin, Alibaba...Congratulations, you managed to fulfill your wishes. '' He congratulated them from the bottom of his heart. He once promised Alibaba that no matter what he did, they would always consider him their ally, and that's what he did.

''Even though you may have been the ones who turned against me and fought, I will not harbor any hatred or remorse. I'm glad they were able to fulfill their destinies. '' He let out a slight smile, satisfied.

His gaze was resting on a vast darkness that didn't seem to have anything.

It was somehow frightening, almost as if the entire space was covered and filled with Black Rukh. But he knew it wasn't, it was a concept almost equivalent to this but somehow lonelier.

'' Perhaps it might not have been the smartest choice to aim for something that big. Should I have been satisfied with Reign Sindria? '' He questioned himself, taking advantage of his solitary moment to reflect on his life's actions. '' No...it would be hypocritical of me to think about it and 'regret' it, even after congratulating them. What's done is done, no turning back. '' He nodded satisfied himself.

...

''To think that being without them would be so boring... '' Sinbad remembered those he once called friends and trusted, he considered them inferior to himself but still trusted them with his heart, knowing they wouldn't ever betray him.

'' Those I considered ''inferior'' are alive, and well. While I...in this place, how ironic huh? '' He let out a slight smile, couldn't think of crying or being sad. Keeping its determined and cheerful essence even in such a vast place.

*BZZZT*

Sinbad stared wide open at his Father's sword that was at his waist, the Symbol of Baal had released a spark of electricity. When he was going to extend his hand to the sword, a strong flash swallowed all his Vision forcing him to close his eyes.

...------...

TEYVAT

On an extremely high mountain, a white sphere suddenly appeared at its peak before disappearing, in its place only a man with long purple hair remained.

This Man was none other than Sinbad, the one who had been in that dark space that he deduced was the place he was destined to go to when he died.

Sinbad looked around with wide eyes before getting up, seeing that he was in a completely new place. His eyesight was hurting thanks to the enormous amount of time he had spent in the dark, but it didn't last long before his eyes adjusted to the sunlight again.

''What...'' At a loss for words to describe what he was thinking, Sinbad just mumbled lost something. He moved his hand to the scimitar at his waist and brought it in front of his face, staring at the symbol on it.

''Baal, did you do this? '' He questioned, still in disbelief. He didn't want to get his hopes up that he had suddenly come out of that dark place.

[ ... ] Baal was in deep silence for a few seconds, before making the Symbol glow. [ You could say that yes, I have a hand in this. But not just me, like all the other Sixes. ] The confident, commanding Voice of Baal issued from the Symbol, answering Sinbad, his lord.

''Explain yourself. '' Sinbad took a deep breath before sitting down on the ground, staring at the sword. He didn't look around and didn't even bother to do it, lifelong customs weren't going to come out of anywhere.

[After his defeat, all 7 of us met up with Ugo. Through it, we discovered certain 'things', which made it possible for you to be brought to this place. ] Baal began the explanation with a normal speed, in no hurry to explain himself. [ As you may know, King Solomon was not a simple person. You could consider him a true and literal God, if not for that [Will]. For someone capable of bending space and time with extreme ease, evading death shouldn't be impossible. ]

'' And why didn't he do this to him, when he was about to pass away? '' Sinbad questioned, confused. He was unable to understand Solomon. ''Unless...'' As if he realized something, Sinbad's eyes widened.

[He saw no need. He had already done everything he could for everyone, that includes us. Solomon was someone special and had already discovered many things, including the Future. ] Confirming Sinbad's supposed achievement, Baal explained to him. [ He saw that his 'little Magi' would appear and guide everyone to a future where they would not be dependent on 'Solomon' or 'Magis', able to survive and evolve on their own. His duty was done, and as a gift, he provided Ugo with something. One of the people he trusted the most, and the one he knew he would use right away. ]

[ A power for Ugo to use or give to anyone he deems fair/worthy, able to return to life after death. Users were limited to those who served Solomon once in a lifetime, so they could use them on their future Vessel Users, should someone suitably worthy appear. ] Baal explained, squinting as he saw animation creep into Sinbad's eyes. [ As much as you are indeed exceptional, this spell was not created knowing its End, do not forget this, my Lord. ] Baal scolded his User in a harsh tone, being used to Sinbad's antics.

'' Hah...~ Couldn't you be kinder with your lines? '' Sinbad commented with an amused tone before getting up. ''I believe the Spell was used by the seven of you, sharing the burden, to bring me back to life, correct? '' Connecting the dots, Sinbad made a good deduction. ''Should I hurry up and see how everyone is doing, maybe they're still around. '' He commented slightly hopeful. But unfortunately, nothing is perfect.

[ My Lord. As much as your deduction is right, there is an error. Even for Solomon, there were certain limits. There is not a single being who is truly Omnipotent, however strong his deeds may be. ] Baal cut through Sinbad's animation with an iron voice. [ He created something that could outwit death. But something that is once registered as Dead for a World will remain Dead. All must follow their Destiny and its alternatives, and Solomon was included in that. ] Both knew that Black Rukh Users were outside this rule, as they became users of such Power precisely by destroying their supposed destiny, but this was something obvious enough not to be mentioned.

[ Solomon knew that he would harm not only himself but the entire present and future world population by changing the Laws of the World. That's why he created this Spell with a variant. With a function of random coordinates, in search of something functional and alive, fit for the Spell's target to live. The Spell carried the characteristic of sending the target to an infinitely distant reality, without a return, in exchange for providing him with the Gift of life again. ] Baal ended his explanation, seeing his User standing still and staring at the almost yellowish clouds at the top of the mountain, from a region covered by hundreds of other mountains of similar elevation levels.

'' ... '' Sinbad was silent, unfortunately, accepted this reality once and for all. It wasn't something that shook him to the point of making him sad, he knew enough of the Rukh and the Laws of the World to know how rigid and powerful the World he once lived in was. ''Well, I believe that all I can do is do my best in memory of those who once accompanied me. '' He dismissed the negative thoughts before assuming a small smile, no matter how positive a person was, they would still be affected even a little bit by bad news.

[My Lord...] Baal commented in a voice filled with slight concern, feeling the irregularity in Sinbad's Rukh.

''Relax, this won't last for long. A new world, a new life. In a way, I can start over all my adventures and build new ideas...even try to do things I've never done before. This sounds incredibly exciting, Baal! '' Sinbad commented as he assumed a broad smile and placed his hands on his waist, posing on top of the incredibly high mountain. He has never turned down an adventure, whether on Sea or land, and it would not be now in a new World that he would turn it down.

''But...this world is incredibly cold, huh? '' He commented with serious questioning, seeing the cold gales that hit his body as he stood on the mountain.

[ ...You are completely naked, my Lord. ] With a sigh, Baal notified Sinbad. He wasn't wearing anything other than the Djinn accessories he wore, meaning his attire was currently pure silver and gold in reasonable sizes.
