Clara watched him with wide eyes and wondered if he knew how to cook. ' oh no, what has gotten into him.' She broke out of her thoughts and quickly went to his side. " Please let me, you must be tired from work, let me cook, I'll be done in a jiffy, " she said while trying to snatch the pan from his hand.

Carl held the pan with his other hand and glared at her. " Go back to the living room, " he commanded and returned to what he was doing. No, he won't let her poison him like last time. His eyes darkened when he remembered how she had abandoned him to suffer from a stomach ache that day.

' Hmph, I'm just trying to be considerate.' She glared at his back and turned back toward the living room. If he didn't want her to touch his things, he could at least say it politely, not chasing her out.
