Jaxon and I have been best friends for a long time. We’ve been through a great deal together and have fought together. Yet, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile as much as I am now. I guess his wife, Maleah, is the one responsible for that. I observe as he and Maleah smile and touch each other completely, forgetting that I’m in the room. It’s as if they can’t stand to not touch. Maleah, like my Kitten, is a very beautiful woman. I have to say that Jaxon and I have similar tastes in women. Both women have long dark hair, honey-colored skin, caramel eyes, and exotic features.

Her little corgy, Ace, pads around the kitchen happily, yipping as Maleah prepares dinner. I found the puppy in a nearby shelter and gave him to her as a gift several months ago. “I’m so happy you’re here, Logan,” Maleah says with a sincere smile.

I smile in return. “Glad to be here, Mal. You look as beautiful as always.”
