She was following me quietly. looking at her face, it was clear that she wasn't satisfied with the result. but now she can't do anything.
If I had known earlier that I would have to fight her, I would have unlocked some shield skills too, which would have increased my chances of winning. Also, i wouldn't had to reveal my reaction speed.

"Yes" she answered instantly.
"Since you are quite skilled in swordsmanship and look like a noble, I presume you can do horseriding"
"Sorry to disappoint you, I'm not a noble. I don't have a family. But yes, I know how to ride a horse"
"Can you arrange two horses for us? One is also fine if you are fine riding with me on the same horse"
"Why do you need horses?" She asked.
"I want to go somewhere"
"Where?"

After that conversation, we parted ways.
I don't know much about her, but I have understood that my meeting her that night was not a coincidence.

She is a liar. And also a fool, otherwise she would not have made such an obvious blunder, or maybe she thinks I am a fool.
When it comes to whether I can rely on her or not, I can rely on her for the time being.
My hypothesis is that she already knew I am Shield Hero and wanted to join my party from the very beginning.
Reason? Exp boost of heroes. If you are in a hero's party then your level will increase very quickly.
Normally it will take a person at least 40 years to reach level 70, that too if you are hunting everyday. But if you are in a hero's party then it will take you just 1-2 years.
She only wanted to level up faster. She chose to make a party with me cuz I was alone. While the exp of other heroes's party will be shared among their party members.
So I was probably the best option.
But it's good. her partying up with me will save me a lot of time.
After that, I went to unlock some useful shields.

He told me to bring two horses if possible. Ha, as if I'd waste this opportunity.
It took less than I expected. Now I'm standing near the bridge but shield hero hasn't come yet.
I wonder what he's doing!
Just when I was thinking that, he appeared.
By looking at him, I can tell that he fought some monsters. Why didn't he took me with him?
"Only one horse? I thought you would be better than this." Said naofumi nonchalantly
I want to punch him, but he'd dodge it anyway.
"I tried my best." I said.
"Okay fine. Are you alright sitting with me?"
"I don't have a problem with that"
"good"
I sat on the horse and gestured my hand to sit behind me. He followed my order like an obedient child
"So, where are we going exactly?"
"Seyaette" he answered with a determined look
"The demi-human village right? But that place is distroyed by the wave that came a week ago. And it's so far away"
"Fine by me"
"Huh, okay fine."
With that, we started going to the southwest.
