Jia Li, having also finished her portion, nodded in agreement.

Following Court Lady Xuan's directives, the attendants promptly cleared the table and discreetly departed, granting them privacy as Xianwu had requested.

Sensing Jia Li's curiosity, Xianwu met her inquisitive gaze. "I have plans to leave at midnight," he disclosed.

Puzzled, Jia Li furrowed her brow, a sudden sense of apprehension building in her. "Why?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Before he could speak up, they heard Eunuch Yuhan's voice from the outside. "Your Royal Highness, the royal jeweler has come to see you," he announced in a loud voice. 

Both Xianwu and Jia Li looked at each other, wondering why Eagle had suddenly come at this hour. "Why is he here?" Jia Li asked.
