Chapter 40: A Promiscuous Woman

The man bowed his head with an embarrassed look on his face. But she did not wait for his foolish reply. She turned and ascended the stairs. 

Just a few steps and she saw Damien standing there. 

"So you returned." she smiled with a mocking glare on her face but his stoic eyes did not flicker.

"What do you want, Hazel?" Her cold voice and curt reply did not affect the girl.

"I want you, Damien. I have told you that so many times. You are looking for a woman to marry and I am the best candidate you can get. Why are you wasting your time thinking?" She raised a brow, the cold look told Damien that she already knew.

"You are looking for her. Don't you?" ha! A dry laugh escaped her lips when his expressions did not change. "She is married. She had been married long ago. You can not go looking for a married woman, Damien. You will lose all your respect and the elders will never accept it." the man laughed and looked at her with contempt.
