"Do you think she is already trapped?" Evan regretted the moment words left her mouth. She did not want to sound excited about ruining someone's life. But she was.. She was waiting for Diana to speak what her family exactly wanted from Damien.

That was the only reason she had not yet published the proof she had found against the count's family. Cotlin had warned her to not let others know what she was thinking. Open palms had no value but the closed fist is worth treasure, he had told her. 

"Cotlin will take care of that. You need not worry too much." She nodded, relieved that he did not press her. The warmth passing through his hands made her sweat. The silence felt strange and she found herself staring at his lips. Did man have thankfully curvy lips? They look better than a woman's!
