Gloria looked up at Angela with a sarcastic smile and asked, "Do you think I heard it?"
Angela widened her eyes. She was not shocked but was so angry that she couldn't speak.
Gloria was not deaf, so she must have heard it. Angela had said so to blame her, and she had not expected her to be so thick-skinned. How could the b*tch have the nerve to ask back?
Just when Angela was about to retort, Martha quickly laughed out loud to prevent her. Angela felt annoyed, so she snorted, but she still controlled her temper and stopped talking.
After brewing her emotions, Martha said helplessly, "Gloria, don't overthink. I know you need time to think about this matter, but it is indeed urgent. Can we compound in private?"
Claude remained sullen without saying a word because he couldn't swallow his pride to beg Gloria, so he could only let Martha only do this. Angela stared at Gloria unblinkingly, waiting for her response.
