George sneered, "Fair enough, but why were you so nervous just now? Why did you ask Nydia to take care of her? Show me how uninterested you are! Admit it, you care about her. You can't fool me!"
He was a little upset after Nydia was sent away. There were a lot of people who could look after Gloria. Why did it have to be Nydia?
Jordy's stern gaze landed on George. He was not happy either.
Undaunted, George snorted, "Ugh, a man like you deserve to be single. You're not good enough for Gloria."
Unwilling to talk to the man again, he turned around and headed out.
He was afraid that they would end up quarreling.
Jordy's face was icy cold. After George left, he sat alone on the sofa, lit a cigarette, and spat out rings of smoke.
Instead of finishing the cigarette, he stubbed it out, but agitation grew stronger in his eyes.
George's words had been engraved in his mind. He could neither get rid of them nor calm down.
