Honestly I didn't really know what I expected the weapon—Zeus's master bolt, to look like. Maybe like a metal lightning bolt, but definitely not this disappointing.
It looks like a f*cking metal rod with a point at one end.
But as soon as it's in Zeus's hand it transforms.
The once plain looking weapon becomes jagged and sharp. Lightning coils around the whole weapon, giving the celestial bronze a brilliant glow.
Engravings of thunderstorms and lightning appear on it, making it seem like an artwork.
While holding it Zeus's eyes glow a brilliant white and we all stare in amazement and he gives off the staticky feeling the air gets once lighting is about to strike.
"Yes! With this power, we can actually win!", Zeus exclaims excitedly.
We all turn our heads back to the Cyclopes and Hundred-Handed Ones and we watch them make the second weapon, and I'm extremely excited cause I know the next weapon is my trident.
The Hundred-Handed Ones toss my weapon in the air, and before I catch it, it looked like a normal trident, maybe even a f*cking pitch fork.
10
But as soon as it's in my hand I can feel the power coursing through me. My trident transforms too and it becomes thicker and bigger.
9
The shafts design becomes more intricate and beautiful with lines of celestial bronze decorating it.
2
The once plain blades on the top of the trident become a beautiful sea blue and images of sea monsters and churning waves litter the whole trident giving it an ancient and majestic feeling.
Deep in my soul I can't help but feel a sense of...rightness? It feels like me and this trident were made for each other, well....I guess it sort of was?
I must look pretty cool too, because all my siblings, except Zeus who is still infatuated with his own weapon, look at me the same way we were all just looking at Zeus.
I calm myself down and continue watching the Cyclopes forge Hades Helm of Darkness.
After their done forging the pieces, they toss it to the Hundred-Handed Ones and they put it together.
The Hundred-Handed Ones throw it to us and it sails through the air looking like a regular Greek helmet, but once again, when the owner, Hades, touches it, it transforms.
The helm grows dark until it reaches pitch black, silver engravings of death and pain cover the helm. Two twin black horns sprout from the side and curl upwards like bull horns.
The helm radiates an aura of death and fear and I shiver a bit once I feel it.
Hades gains a wicked smile once he puts it on, and he vanishes.
Everyone else starts calling out for him, but I know what's happening so I stay calm.
Hades pops up right behind Zeus and he jumps in fright. I let out a little laugh and Zeus glares at me.
"The girls still need to get weapons", I say, because I am an advocate of gender equality and it would be stupid to let good fighting power for our allies go to waste.
11
"They don't need any", Zeus responds.
2
"Why can't we?", Demeter adds.
Zeus looks stumped and stops talking.
1
The Cyclopes were about to start forging the next weapons, but then at that moment Kampê turned around and looked at us with her toxic green reptilian eyes.
3
I don't know how she sees us now because she hadn't seen us before, but maybe she sensed the residual power rolling of us from holding our new weapons.
She raises her whip and howls in anger and outrage.
"Sh*t", I say under my breath.
I then take my trident and slam it into the ground. The ground starts trembling and ripping apart.
Kampê then swings her huge whip at me, but I dodge to the side, only getting the side of my face slightly singed.
"F*cking help me!", I yell furiously at Zeus, because I know hades helm isn't very useful in this situation, especially without a real weapon.
5
Zeus then points his master bolt at Kampê while I hold her back with earthquakes and swings of my trident, but my earthquakes are weak due to me not practicing them much.
2
"F*ck", I say while regretting my stupidity in not practicing earthquakes,"Hurry it up Zeus!"
1
"I'm f*cking trying, I don't know how to use this thing!"
"Then learn!", I scream back.
I take take a few leaps backwards then slap my trident into the ground, while saying DOMAIN in my head.
Waves of divinity roll off me, warping my surroundings.
The area around me trembles, then the inside of the bronze walls suddenly temporarily becomes a churning sea. I feel myself get way stronger and can't help but feel proud of myself for the results of my training in Kronos's stomach.
I temporarily struggle to hold Kampê down with my water and then look back at my brothers and sisters.
They're all on top of a small patch of land which was probably a hill before I used my DOMAIN and Zeus is standing there making a constipated face while pointing his weapon at Kampê.
"Use your f*cking divinity, like when you transform!", I scream at him while trying to drown Kampê and throwing my water destructo disks at her.
A look of realization comes across his face and then he points his weapon at her and the air becomes way more staticky. His hair stands up on end because of it and arcs of lightning flash around him. And I have to admit he looks pretty cool.
A large beam of crackling lightning shoots out and it strikes Kampê.
A good portion of her left side is instantly vaporized and she starts to fall backwards while fading into dust.
I stop my DOMAIN and instantly become exhausted. Zeus looks at me with a smug expression on his face and I'm instantly pissed.
"All you had to do was land the finishing blow and you weren't even smart enough to do that without my help, so don't go around looking so smug.", I say while glaring at him.
3
Zeus looks embarrassed and angry and tries to start pointing his weapon at me, but I just continue glaring at him and he stops.
I now know when Zeus stopped being a decent dude, it wasn't when he became king, it was when he got that f*cking master bolt.
I calm myself down and go and call Hades to help me free the Hundred-Handed Ones and the Cyclopes because I don't know how long I would be able to look at Zeus before wanting to smack him, but we have more important things to worry about right now, I'll straighten him out later.
While walking towards the Cyclopes and Hundred-Handed Ones I can't help but notice the coquettish glances Hera keeps giving Zeus and I feel bad for her, but I know that no matter how much I try to convince her she won't believe me without evidence, but there currently is none.
8
I might just have to wait until Zeus eats Metis to save her from herself. If she doesn't believe me then, then alrighty.
9
Hades helps me pull off the celestial bronze chains on their ankles and wrists and I think to myself that once this is all over, I'll take them to live in my underwater palace.
Then we hear a chorus of monstrous roars reverberate through the pit, all notified of our presence due to the fight.
