Years after the birth of her second son, Rhea knew that she had become pregnant again.
She feared for her child's life and wanted to save it, but was terrified by the thought of the punishments Kronos would give her if she disobeyed him.
But after having five of her children eaten, she has had enough.
Her cries reached the ears of her mother Gaea and she decides to help her daughter save her child and they come up with a plan.
.....
As soon as the time came and Rhea started to get a noticeably very large belly, she took a few moments to take a few deep breaths, compose herself, and walk into the throne room.
Rhea told Kronos that she had to go to Crete and would return with the baby.
Kronos had his suspicions, but Rhea told him that Koios and Phoebe— the Titans of Prophecy, told her that if she had the child in Crete, it would please him most of all.
Kronos agreed to let her go, thinking that if she wanted to try something she would have done it already, and she headed off to Crete.
She eventually found Crete, the place agreed upon by her and Gaea in their plan, and some helpful nymphs brought her to a well-hidden cave at the base of Mount Ida, chosen by Gaea.
There she gave birth to her most godly child yet—Zeus.
Rhea had simple hopes for this child, namely to keep him alive and away from hostile stomachs.
The ground trembled and Gaea produced a large stone, smooth and oval, exactly the same size and weight as a baby god.
Rhea knew exactly what to do with this stone. She swaddled it up with a blanket and then told the nymphs and other nature spirits formed by the blood of Uranus like saytrs and kouretes to guard and raise her child when she was gone, and that she would try her best to visit.
Rhea then returned to Mount Othry—the home of the Titans, with the swaddled rock and presented it to Kronos.
Kronos didn't even bother to look at it and immediately ate it.
.....
Everyone was confused by what a rock was doing here, but I knew what it meant...Zeus has been born and we are soon going to be rescued!
I am extremely exhilarated at the prospect of being out of this d*mn stomach.
But then I realize that as soon as I get out I am going to have to face tons of Titans who have hundreds of years of battle experience.
In my last life I didn't have the chance to really do things like martial arts, but there was one thing I had a lot of....free time.
When I wasn't listening to audiobooks, I was watching animes, tv shows, and movies. Towards then end of my life though I had to stop due to the headaches I would get from the flashing lights and bright colors.
After we all have a discussion about the rock that washed up, I go and sit back in my corner and brainstorm. I figure that most of the stuff in anime's and tv shows won't be possible for me, but some of them might be.
I think about Divine Ax Rhitta and how it could store Escanor's energy to release extremely powerful attacks. I feel like that might be possible if I ask the Elder Cyclopes and Hundred-Handed Ones to make my Trident like that.
A big disadvantage to having a physical domain, compared to an unphysical one is that you will be a lot weaker once your out of that domain, but very powerful if you are in it, just like Percy was stronger when he fought in water.
I start brainstorming to fix this problem and I remember that in the Percy Jackson books, Percy managed to summon part of the ocean to him using seashells when he needed to clean up the horse ranch. I figure I should be able to do more than that since I am a god.
This plus an anime that I once watched gives me the idea of DOMAIN.
What I envision DOMAIN to be is basically expending a large amount of energy, or divinity as I like to call it, to force your godly domain into that of another.
This idea gets me so excited that I immediately try it.
"DOMAIN!!", I scream forcefully and I start madly pouring an absurd amount divinity into my surroundings, but then realize that it is unnecessary and kinda stupid for me to do that.
All my siblings look at me, confused and slightly ridiculing. But then Kronos's stomach starts to tremble a little bit.
Then a small puddle appears out of nowhere.
My siblings look on at me in amazement, but I grimace and feel embarrassed when looking at how small the puddle I summoned is compared to the divinity I put in.
"How did you do that?", Hera asked.
I don't really know the logic for sure myself, but I tell her what I know.
"I basically just saturated the area with my divinity", I say while looking slightly proud, even though all I did was summon a puddle.
Hades looks at me and I see a trace of admiration in his eyes. But eventually the novelty of what I did wears off and a couple of them try for themselves, but the only one who succeeds is Hades, who managed to summon a patch of pure black ground with chalk white grass.
Hades looks proud of himself, but then goes back to his corner to recover his lost energy/ divinity.
I on the other hand sit down and continue brainstorming.
I think about more animes and tv shows with water controlling protagonists and remember Avatar: The Last Airbender. I think about their water bending techniques, but I can't really try out a lot of them with my little puddle of water, but then I remember blood bending.
I want to try it out, but I don't think any of my siblings would be willing if I told them I wanted to control their blood/ ichor. So I stand up and walk to the charred black wall of our cave/cavity and start trying to pull on Kronos's blood.
I can feel it, but I can't seem to move his blood at all when I pull. I got tired out easily from both the use of DOMAIN and my attempt at blood bending so I take a break and continue thinking.
I remember that there was something called shadow travel in the books, and I once read in a fanfic about mist travel so it may be possible for me to do something like it.
I want to try it, but I have too little divinity left for it.
I continue creating and testing ideas, but nothing else really seems to be plausible after trying them for a bit, so all I can do is sit down with my puddle at my feet and practice my control over water.
Doing this gives me another idea. I remember Krillin's distructo disk and, reading somewhere that extremely fast moving water, or pressurize water can even cut through metal.
I make a disk-like ring using the puddle at my feet and start spinning it extremely fast and it seems like the idea would work.
Luckily I was a patient person in my last life, so quiet practice like this doesn't frustrate me.
My siblings watch me practice for a bit, but then got bored and try to do it on their own.
The only ones who can't are Demeter and Hera as her domain is over marriage and being a wife, not really a physical thing. And Demeter because she couldn't manage to summon her DOMAIN.
I spend years like that.
Talking with my siblings, practicing DOMAIN, blood control, mist travel, and my water disk, while still brainstorming more ideas.
But after a while and we had gotten stronger, we started to make constant attempts to escape, but none of them ever succeeded.
Until.....
