Chapter 22: Mansion

Space twisted around Krez once again as he hopped through the portal, but he made it just in time. Opening his eyes, he found himself back at the oasis, clutching a shrunken pyramid in his hand. It had reduced considerably from its original size, now only a few inches tall. The pyramid fit snugly in his hand.

Though smaller, the pyramid retained its original appearance, with a metallic sheen resembling silver. Its surface was adorned with mysterious dark markings, giving it an intriguing allure. Despite its diminutive size, it exuded an aura of importance. The pyramid looked like a decoration, one would never guess its really an Immortal Mansion.

Remembering the instructions, Krez used his pinky finger to draw a small cut on the sharp point of his teeth. He then rubbed the blood onto the surface of the Immortal Mansion. As soon as the blood made contact, he felt a ethereal connection forming, resonating somewhere deep within him.
