Outnumbered by the bipedal monsters that ran amok, several scorpions were sent thundering into the mud, their bodies paralysed after getting stung repeatedly. Once overwhelmed, there was nothing they could do except get torn apart.
Yet another scorpion fell screeching in agony, its carapace crushed under the force of multiple bites. And another collapsed after getting attacked relentlessly, the crushing slew of monsters stinging it while it was trapped in mud. Blue blood and shredded flesh sailed through the air – Its body quickly reduced to scraps of meat as the creatures fought.
The few scorpions that remained were hunted persistently across the swamp until they too fell, their blood bringing up even more of the creatures that seemed to stir from every single inch of mud that remained.
The thick scent of blood and burning acid assaulted Morgana's nostrils as she watched. She had never seen such aggressive creatures up close before.
