Chapter 416: Azel's Day

Azel's surgery day had come. The man used the excuse that his eyesight had slowly worsened and forced Rosie and Harris to tell the king that he could no longer be the one in charge of Duran Prison.

Initially, lying about someone's illness diagnosis was a very difficult thing for Rosie and Harris. However, for the sake of their mission, they agreed to lie just this once.

The news about Azel resigning due to illness and blindness was spreading fast, and the assassins kept coming more and more every day. The prisoners were getting restless. Some of the guards started to rebel but were always subdued by Azel's beasts.

The prisoners began to wonder why the guards were getting less and less every day. Meanwhile, Azel still occupied the tower with the king's permission until he wished to leave and the king would find someone to replace the man's position.
