Chiron's scream pierced the thick, suffocating fog as he raised his arm to the sky. The flames that had been searing his flesh suddenly ceased, leaving him in a momentary state of relief. The unbearable pain in his lungs, heart, and bones vanished as if it had never been there. The fog began to thin, gradually revealing his surroundings.
To his surprise, he found himself facing a group of Bloodlust creatures.
Their gray, sunken faces and hungry eyes stared back at him, reflecting an insatiable hunger. Some of these creatures had once been human, others orcs, but now they were all grotesque parodies of their former selves.
Their skin clung to their skeletal frames, stretched tight over their bones, giving them an emaciated and horrific appearance. The males had grotesquely enlarged manhoods, while the females had grotesquely swollen chests.
Chiron frowned, feeling a mix of revulsion and annoyance.
