Moments later, i regained my consciousness.
Haru was gone and... I saw marie crawling towards me and i tried to stood up and help marie but my body couldn't move. My vision was still blurry but i can see that marie was hurt badly and i was trembling...
"Lien it's ok, stay there. I'm coming to you"
she said with her weak voice and that can barely speak
As marie slowly crawling towards me i was tearing up because when i looked at her i noticed, she has wounds and blood everywhere but still manage to smile.
When i was at her reach, she grabbed my hand and handed something. A necklace with a black ore on it and said with her calming voice
"This was a necklace that your parents left you when you were young, finally i can hand it over to you. Lien i know this is too much for me to ask you but..."
She was coughing blood and trying her best to talk but still smiled at me like it was nothing.
She then continued talking
"... Please find haru and save him from those bad guys ok? Sweetie, my lien. Remember that i love you and tell haru when you find him that i love him too and I'll always be there at his heart. Harold died protecting us, i know you must be terrified... It's ok... Just be brave... Now listen to me and run from here as far as you can. Can you do that for me lien?"
She said while she is almost passing out, her eyes were so weak that it wanted to rest... I teared up and looked at her. She held my hands and passed out while smiling, she was so brave.
I was scared but i stood up with my bruised body and then i closed my eyes and ran away from the village i grew up in. I ran into the forest and ran and ran. After running for hours i stopped, i was on my knees crying.
"Why has this happened to me! Why was i powerless! Why am i so weak!"
"Harold was betrayed, and they took haru because haru was powerful. If only i was stronger I could've protected them!"
The winds in the forest abnormally changed.
It was silent and calming and it seemed like the time has stopped.
I stood up and look around. I then heard a voice calling my name, i walked towards it and when i was closing in, it started to fade. When the voice faded i saw a black shaped in circle on the stone near the cliff, i was intrigued because it was glowing but the glow was black. I went to it and grabbed it out of my curiousity, my stomach then felt hungry and as the sun was rising i started to see it clearly.
It seemed like a sage fruit but in black color. I didn't mind about the color and since i love sage fruits, without hesitation i took a bite and seemed so delicious so i ate it all.
My vision became blurry again and...
"What?"
I didn't realise it but i was falling on a cliff but before i landed i already passed out.
