Chapter 72: Shard and Star

Zahard stumbled backward, Amon's fist slipping out of his chest as his own warm green blood began to pour all over his toned body.

He looked toward the wound on his chest with disbelief then looked back up toward Amon.

Had a boy he could've once snuffed out of existence truly caught up to him? In barely a year?!

BANG!

His earthen exoskeleton tightened and became akin to a sleek suit as the wound in his chest rapidly closed.

His long white hair rapidly turned into a foggy many of mist and golden runes as his pupils became a void, filled with chaotic black and white lightning.

"I see."

BANG!

Their clash continued.

Amon's thoughts swirled as he endlessly battled against Zahard and forced him to use more and more of his true power.

As this happened, his own control over his affinities advanced and he began to use them in more and more intricate ways, wasting less energy to get more results.
