Chapter 1: Pve cancelled!
"They really canceled it this game is going to shit" said a man sitting by himself at a bar clearly drunk his name is Theo he has been playing overwatch since it came out he was there through it all but this one broke the camels back they canceled pve a thing they hyped for 3 years and that overwatch 2 was cancelled although this wouldn't hit hard to a new player to a veteran like Theo it hurt, after all he has waited 3 years for it now he won't get it and realized the devs are sacrificing the fun for money but it's not all the devs afterall what dev wants to see they're game in such a state "it's the fucking higher ups I tell you" said Theo clearly drunk as he was talking with himself as the night kept on going with Theo getting more and more intoxicated the last thing he saw was a flashing light before everything went dark
In a dark room a man laying on a bed suddenly screamed as he held his head saying "damn it I shouldn't of drank that much" said the man as he kept having the splitting headache for a couple more minutes before it disappeared Theo now disoriented from the headache got up not even realizing this wasn't his room he quickly went to the only door in the room believing to be his bathroom but as he opened the door what appeared infront of him made him freeze infront of him was a dark apartment with the kitchen and living room fused into one as Theo stood there he look back hopefully to find his room but what he found was a small room with only a bed and little clothes clearly not his room because even though he played overwatch he still had a good job and even bought his own house but this was clearly a small one bedroom apartment as the realization kicked in he wasn't at home Theo got nervous as he said "where am I?" As soon as he spoke those his eyes went blank as he looked like a standing corpse for a few seconds until they got back it's luster "I remember this is my apartment" as Theo said those words his face got a little weird as he doesn't only remember that he remembers his entire "new" life here and how it's so different from before just before he was about to have a existential crisis about his two self's he heard

"What who are you?" Said Theo as he heard that voice looking vigilant around his small apartment [congratulations host on acquiring the game entertainment system host] as the voice sounded again in his head Theo calmed down still vigilant to his surroundings as he made clear of the words spoken to him, the voice called itself a system just like the novels I used to read thought Theo as he finally decided to talk "system who are you?" Said Theo wanting to confirm his thoughts [I am your system host] said the system confirming his thoughts then came a feeling of confusion as he asked "did I die system?"
[yes you have died as you walked onto the streets drunk and got hit by a car and was left bleeding out on the road] said the system confirming his thoughts yet again as he could only sigh but then came a feeling of euphoria as he didn't have attachments in his old life his remaining family disowned him and haven't spoken to him in years now he can start a new life with a system [seeing how you deeply love overwatch I have changed features to cater to it, every game you play you will get 50$ for every kill you get and a POTG will be 1,000$, every viewer you get on your stream will add 50$ to your account at the end of the stream donations will be multiplied by 10

Seeing the system functions Theo started getting excited he doesn't care if the system can read his mind he is going to be rich just by playing overwatch "starter pack? It has to have some good stuff system open the starter pack please" said Theo with a new found confidence in his voice [starter pack opened received- god level mechanical skills, god pill, a pc set up 100's of years ahead of todays technology fear not no one will be able to tell or understand it in they're eyes it will just be an expensive pc even if they see futuristic parts it will just appear as parts on the market to them] seeing what the starter pack gave him Theo got excited as mechanics was what held him back for so many years afterall playing the game for so many years theo has built up his game sense as Theo was thinking blinding lights enveloped his apartment as it left it left behind a small box on his table and in his room a crazy looking pc with 2 monitors, with the small box in his hand Theo was looking and touching the pc with sparkles in his eyes it looked so cool thought Theo as he sat on his comfy gaming chair and opened the small box to reveal a pull he could only think this was the god pill having full trust in the system he sat on his bed in fear this would be a cultivation pill like those CN novels he didn't want to ruin his new gaming chair as he swallowed the pill he instantly knocked out
Waking up Theo couldn't help but feel uncomfortable his bed felt wet and muddy so he opened his eyes to see his bed filled with black sludge like substance "fuck was that really a cultivation pill or something" said Theo as the revolting smell made him run to the bathroom to shower, showering and no longer smelling terrible Theo was about to leave the bathroom but stopped infront if the Mirror as he touched his face in shock he was never an ugly guy but this man on the mirror was beyond handsome and way taller with visible muscles than he ever was "is this the effects of the god pill?" Said Theo yet again shocking himself he didn't notice it before as it sounded natural but now he can hear that his voice got deeper like noticeably deeper
(This novel is based in the same world as my other novel world zoo but in this world drake hasn't reincarnated)
