Chapter 262: Light It Up

Shizuka twirled one of the spiral artefacts on the tip of her finger, cooing at the sight. Asmodeus only played with the artefacts as the pair waited for Mizuto and Kishi to finish assembling the torch. Yuzuru laid down not far from the former two, fiddling with an artefact in his hands as well.

As the wind blew through the strands of their hair, they felt it kissed their cheeks goodbye when rows of thunder erupted from within the greyish clouds above. Shizuka jolted up in surprise when the roar got louder than before.

She eyed the grey sky with slight worry. "Mizu-nii, how's the torch going? It's about to rain!" Yuzuru shouted from beside the female, crouching down right next to her with a tilted head.

"Almost done!" the wood-brown-haired Ichijou yelled back, hurrying with their progress. Thunders roared again, splitting the sky into two with flashes of white and strikes of lightning aiming the ground.
