Chapter 9: Chapter 8: 3 Years Later, Adventure begins
As the sun rose on today it not only signified what may have been the future king of the pirates' journey but also our badass Aces adventure to become emperor. As the wind blew over the island and the birds flew overhead there was one man standing on a cliff practicing his routine martial arts, sweating as if in deep concentration and focus. When he finished throwing his last punch and his muscles flexing showing off every detailed sculpted part of his upper body as if he was crafted from gods himself was Ace. He was covered in a layer of sweat that seemed to cling to his body as if it didn't want to leave, after he took a few deeps breaths did he come out from the intense concentration he was in. As Ace looked out into the sea and saw the calm, clear blue color of the ocean did he realize just how truly lucky he was for being able to come to this world and do what was impossible in his last world. Although he was happy for where he was he couldn't keep watching the ocean as if he was some old man, he had plans and dreams that he wanted to get done before he decided to live a peaceful life with his beautiful wives as an emperor. As Ace took in another big breath of the sea is when he decided that it was time to head back to his crews camp and begin to get everything ready to set sail.
These last three years have been quite intense for Ace but what he considered the most rewarding not only for himself but also for Capone and the crew. Thanks to all of their hard work the 300 elite men who stayed for the full three years were able to awaken both their armament haki and their observation haki. Capone was able to do the same as well, while also getting a better understanding and control over his own devil fruit abilities. Thanks to his hell training his armament haki were able to make its way into the early stages of the Advanced stage while his observation haki and devil fruit should be at the middle of the Intermediate stage and was rapidly improving. As far as Ace thanks to having a training partner and the 300 elites awakening their own haki he was able to make himself improve as well during these last three years if only by a small amount but his swordsmanship and martial arts was able to greatly improve since his haki and devil fruit during the first year hit a bottleneck. Aces guess was that since he wasn't in any life or death battles that he couldn't break through the barrier as far as right now.

As Ace had made his way back into the camp he was greeted with laughter and smiling men drinking and enjoying themselves that the torture for the last three years was over and that they didn't have to push themselves so hard anymore. As Ace saw them all having a good time he had to join in on the special occasion and try and drink everyone under the table no matter if he won or not it would be a fun battle to take.
Before Ace could attempt to grab barrels of various liquors he was stopped by Capone who had grown taller to 5'7 from the intensive training on his body but was still nowhere near the height of Ace as he now stood at an astounding 6 foot 6 inches and weighed almost 230 pounds of nothing but muscle and zero body fat. Seeing Capone walking towards him Ace let a big grin come to his face and shouted for Capone to join in on the fun. Unfortunately, Capone did not want to partake in the festivities he would rather keep smoking on his cigar and play cards. Capone came to Ace to inform him that everything was now ready for them to now leave the island on the ship that had come back 1 year ago with the rest of the crew that had to relay the orders to the organizations across the grand line and also in both the east and west blue. Although Ace was told at most they would take at most a year, it actually took two whole years for them to make it back and inform Ace that everything was taken care of that he had asked of them to do and that before they left that they had already acquired many devil fruits already, information on a few of the individuals he wanted to know about. They had also brought him a present as well that the organization had found in a run-down village on some small and isolated island.
When Ace saw the present they had brought to him he wasn't mad in the slightest about them being a whole year late on there return back, he was actually astounded that they had gifted him this sword. The sword was shaped as a katana and looked exquisitely beautiful with the sheath being a solid black casing that was adorned with gold flowing down in the shape of a dragon towards the hilt of the sword and the sheath that seemed to be made of steel was actually made of some unknown alloy he had never seen before. When he pulled the blade out it seemed as if the blade itself was alive and seemed to be telling him something, as if demanding he kills for it since it could not do it itself. The blade was as pitch black as the night sky when there was no moon and stars showing, it also had a violet wave pattern on the bottom of it that oozed out a killing aura. Ace believed this was one of the 12 of the 'Saijo O Wazamono' swords that he always saw Dracule Mihawk using in the manga. Feeling the murderous aura of the sword Ace decided that he would name it 'Shi no Deshi' or 'Deaths Disciple'. When Ace had resheathed the sword, he gave the crew who had just returned a week vacation before they would also begin their training as well.
Now that everything was ready, Ace walked on to the ship and ordered that everyone prepare to set off and depart for their journey to turn the world government on its head. As everyone boarded they could all feel the excitement in the air as they all began to prepare the ship for their journey to wherever their captain wished to go since being led and directed by Ace for the last 3 years the 300 elites had grown to fully respect him and his position as captain and would follow him into hell and back if they needed to. Now that everything was prepared Ace stood at the front of the ship near the figurehead of a reaper that he had the shipwrights on the crew build for his ship and signaled for them to raise his flags so everyone would know who exactly it belonged to. The flag was of a skull with irises made of piercing blue lighting arcs and above it was dark grayish storm clouds that had purple lighting striking towards the skull.
Capone walked to Ace at the front of the ship and asked his captain where exactly was their first destination. Ace responded by saying that they had to let the world know exactly who he was and that he was not to be trifled with no matter if the were a new an upstart crew or even an admiral in the marines. He told Capone that their first stop was to be the nearest marine base so that he could show them that he was not some puny pirate but a future emperor of the seas. As Capone heard his captain he did a slight bow and proceeded to tell the crew that they were going to attack the nearest marine base to their location and get ready for battle.
Now that they had a destination Ace decided that he would go to his quarters and spend some time working on his form for his martial arts and swordsmanship until they arrived at the marine base.
And like this Ace began his journey to make a name for himself and let the world know that their Emperor had arrived.
