The man was already sitting in Ella's small living room, his face still looking at Ella who still looked awkward.

"Ella... that's your name, isn't it?" Alan started to talk.

"Yes, you're right Mr. Smith." Ella replied, "What made you come to my house?" Ella asked sarcastically.

Mr. Smith looked hesitant to open his mouth.

"Ella, I'm sorry for bothering you. I know Laras is in the hospital, and I'm sorry if I told someone to spy on you two," said Alan, and Ella frowned even more.

"What do you mean Mr. Smith? Are you here just to tell an old story, about you and my mother?" Ella was annoyed to see Alan's face, she clenched her hands tightly.

"So? Turns out... you already knew? You knew that I was..."

"My father? What do you mean, Mr. Smith? All I know is that if my father died long ago, that's what my mother said. To me, you are a past that has made me and my mother suffer all this time." Ella answered harshly.
