Chapter 30: A love triangle that doesn't include me

I made up my decision and scoffed the matter at the back of my mind, thinking about something like that won't help anyone.

The class had thirty students, with nineteen males and the rest were all females.

At this moment, they all had a rare understatement between each one of them, unitedly glancing at the girl that just gracefully sat on her desk.

She was, of course, "Aiya," the delicate girl with the nasty temperament. I have grown used to this kind of public behavior, and like them, took the chance and googled my sight toward her.

Whispers started to intensify as some of the students recognized the junior top pianist in the whole country.

"Is she the girl that won last year's Ettore International competition?" A girl said. Followed immediately by a masculine voice, "Not only that, my dad talks about her family often, we might be rich, but they are from a whole new level,"

Conversations kept brocking down, and people respectively voiced their unnecessary knowledge, "I wish I can befriend her, with all the showbiz business her family owns, I might be able to become a star," a girl with long bangs said.

Her friend lightly elbowed her on the ribs, ranging, "They can't fix your forehead with plastic surgeries,"

Aiya caressed her hair, fixing the hanging strands down, as she sat down on the back, ghosting the whole class.

After a while, solely girls dared to head her way, trying to make a friendly chit chat in an attempt to befriend her.

However, a dramatic scene unraveled under my eyes; Aiya had no interest in talking with them at all; her mouth never moved to greet them back, only playing with her phone, as she waited for the teacher to peer inside.

The two girls that came toward her felt humiliated, their eyes fumed with anger, yet no one sympathized with them; it looks like people here follow a hierarchy of who got the most wealth and influence have the last word, which I found logical but also completely dumb.

The group of girls wouldn't and couldn't afford to offend her.

Following the crude sequence, they bitterly moved away and waited like everybody else.

I internally laughed; to be honest, I was also a certified asshole, but not to such a degree, I would've probably had few words with them.

Then, the professor finally arrived inside. She wore the same colorful style of clothing and had even messier hair.

Just when she reached the electronic board, she tapped it two times and grabbed a black tablet pen, smoothly writing her name. Before she rang, "Without further ado, open your books on page four,"

Everyone gaped hearing her; they were baffled about how quickly she wrote her name and started the lesson without even sparing some words of encouragement.

Yet, her looks were so intimidating that they all hurried to open their books, immediately starting the lesson.

Minutes passed, I had a hard time keeping up with the lecture, especially since the books in this school are so advanced; I'd probably need to study 24/7 to have the chance to bring my knowledge base to the high school level.

The lesson finished after an hour and forty minutes, while the last 15 minutes are kept for the students to ask their individual questions.

I also had some questions, but not for the teacher.

'Narcos, is there any way I can progress her infatuation points before unlocking the shop?'

<Yes, however, it will be prolonged and only have the potential of reaching 50% to 60% on the infatuation bar>

'And it's?' I investigated.

<She's a petite girl that holds even harsher tsundere threats than Miku. The host should go with an aggressive but calm approach to force contact. However, it's forbidden to even think of treating her like Miku, as nobody besides her would've put up with your physical and mental harassment>

<In simple words, dare to do that, and we both will rot in jail after she reports it to her family>

'I know, relax,'

My hands moved to grab my temples, massaging each side for a second, thinking, "force the contact, huh?'

Coincidentally, the class emptied, Aiya recorded her last note and prepared to leave.

Noticing a pen still in the ground, I moved swiftly and grabbed it, keeping it in my pocket for the time being.

She was about to go outside, so I quickly harnessed her attention by simply standing beside her desk as my body towered over her little figure.

Turning her head, she gave me the same hostile face, lightly shouting, "What do you want?"

"Since when someone needs a reason to talk with beautiful girls?" My voice wasn't at the slightest serious.

Her creasing brows knitted, even more, and before she could express her disgust, I laughed, bringing the pen into her sight.

"I think this belongs to you," I was about to put it on her desk when I heard her say, "Did you steal it? Hand it over now,"

My lips flattened, halting my arm in mid-air, as I subconsciously uttered, "Guess it's not yours," then, I shoved it back in my pocket and walked away.

From the back, I heard the girl yell, "Thief, give it back!" she obviously didn't need the pen; she just liked to drag people's life esteem down to the ground.

I just ignored her, peacefully walking in the pathway.

But to my surprise, she kept following me, calling me names like 'thief' or 'scum' all the way to the second year's department.

A commotion was happening around the pathway.

Apparently, the famous group I met in the tailor shop was passing by, and from what I deduced, they're some kind of celebrities inside the school walls, as every one of them were heirs to the more prominent families in the country.

I just wanted to drag Aiya with me, and then toss the pen somewhere, but now I needed to stop for a couple of minutes.

Nevertheless, settings were the title of the day; as I saw something far more interesting than I can imagine.

Miku was chatting with a girl when my brother stopped and looked for an extensive period of time, his face twitched, looking extremely bewitched with her face.

'Well, that's unusual,' I grinned and asked Narcos about what I just saw.

'Can you tell me what happened in my past life, who Miku ended up with?'

Previously, I had anticipations of some kind of love triangle, and my brother might be the missing protagonist.

<Sure, as you know, you only transported eight years back; in my data, Miku still didn't completely get conquered by anyone; however, Arima and your brother had a constant fight, as both of them fell in love with her, and the one who was constantly winning was your brother>

Once my assumption came to life, I thought, half-laughing half-serious, 'So am the worm that wasn't even supposed to be in the equation?" and laughed even more.

Aiya caught up to me and started jumping to snatch her pen, but I was like a tower compared to her height.

"If you're trying to ask about something, you failing miserably," I chimed, eyes empty, "Say, "Give me my pen, please,"

Perhaps, my attention was all on the passing group; making me overlook the manner I spoke with.

Glasses boy Hiroshi, and Akari, noticed the girl bouncing on the tip of her toes and the guy holding the pen high in the sky.

I winked toward them as my brother went to talk with Miku; she still didn't spot me, so I also had an observant eye toward her actions.
