Chapter 23: The Swap

Celestia saw Lady Riverdale stood up and bid farewell to the ladies on the table, and she watches the girl next to her sigh of relief looking at the empty cup.

She release Citirne shadow to steal a few drops of the empty cup to detect if there was anything found in the cup and search the girls body for the poison to use as evidence for hand print.

"Let's go after Lady Riverdale."

"Ok."

Celestia follows her out towards the garden with Layla. Before Layla could call out her name she saw Lady Riverdale almost fell however her maid caught her.

"Young Miss!"

Celestia and Layla ran over to them. Lady Riverdale personal maid saw that it was Celestia and Layla she look at them with pleading eyes.

"Quickly take her to the side room over there."

Lady Riverdale personal maid, quickly help move her Master over Celestia rushes over to check her health with her magic to make sure that Lady Riverdale is fine, she sigh in relief.

"She'll be fine, she just fainted."

"That's strange my lady has always been in good health, and she was perfectly fine this morning."

Celestia didn't speak as she prick lady Riverdale finger with her magic, her maid gasp in shock.

"Young miss Septihanus, what are you doing!?"

"I'm just taking a few drops of her blood and testing it if she has taken any poison or drugs, if something happens to your miss the one that will get into trouble is my, Septihanus family."

The maid shuts her mouth as she has remembers that the clubhouse belongs to the madam of Septihanus. Celestia moves the blood into a small jar and places in the center of her palm, as her magic lights up and surrounds the jar.

"She was poison by a drug called paraleep, it's not harmful to the person that takes it however it will numb their body and they will be a sleep for three days."

"What but I don't remember there was anyone suspicous near my lady all day today."

Layla thought for a moment as her face goes pale.

"If the Count investigates this, Tia does that mean we will also be investigated too?"

Celestia nods her head calmly.

"Anyone involved with lady Riverdale will be question, from morning till now, however we can also let the culprit expose themself too."

"How?"

Celestia looks at lady Riverdale and looks at the two people in the room as she smiles calmly.

"Let's do this..."

"My lady, we are here at Luce."

A maid help woke up her master as they arrive in front of the store.

"Let's go."

"Miss be careful."

As the young lady steps outside the store manager went out to greet her.

"Lady Riverdale, please come in our master has notify us to lead you into the private room she is waiting for you."

"Thank you."

Lady Riverdale enters the private room and sat down as she waits for the host, calmly. Her maid serve her some tea to moisture her mouth.

"Please wait here, Master will be here shortly."

"You may leave and do what you need to do."

The manager bows and left the room, leaving lady Riverdale and her maid inside the room. The maid kept eyeing her lady as she looks around the room.

"If you keep looking at me like that everyone will be more suspicious of you then me."

The maid couldn't hold back her tongue anymore as she looks at the lady sitting in front of her that looks like her master.

"Lady Septihanus, your make up and acting to the way you talk and habits are truly scary. If I didn't know that my lady was still in a coma I would've been fooled that you are my lady."

"The more you think I am your lady the better, this way it's easier to lure your lady's killer"

The maid shuts her mouth as she knows that Celestia says is correct.

The lady sitting in the room is indeed Celestia who is impersonating lady Riverdale. For us to understand what happen we need to go back 15 minutes earlier...

Celestia looks at the open curtains and the unlock doors, she went and close the curtains, walks up to the door and locks it. Layla and the maid looks at her action confusingly.

"Tia what are you planning?"

Celestia didn't answer Layla as she leans over to lady Riverdale and strip her down.

Layla and the maid gasp as they didn't realise Celestia will act like a rouge. The maid quickly ran up to Celestia trying to stop her action.

"Stop what are you doing to my lady!"

"In order to catch the culprit we need to make them believe that your lady has not been effected by the drug. Help me get her out of her clothes so I can change into it."

"But how are you going to look like my lady?"

The maid looks at Celestia, she can't see any similarities compare to her lady and Celestia features except they have similar height.

"Trust me I know my way. Now come help me or do you not want to help find the culprit."

"I do, of course I do!"

The maid and Layla realise the plan and quickly help her out of the clothes. Once they got them change their outfit Celestia, got Citrine to go find some make up from another room and brought it over for her to change her make up, with the help of magic Celestia naturally looks exactly like lady Riverdale.

"Tia you look exactly like like lady Riverdale!"

"Layla, once I leave this place, send word to my family and tell my father or brother about the situation."

"Tia shouldn't I tell my brother and lady Riverdale's family?"

"No I need them to participate and be kept in the dark a little longer, that way we will be able to expose the culprit."

"Ok I understand. Tia be careful."

Celestia smiles as she walks out the room change her aura into lady Riverdale, who is calm reserve.

Present.

Celestia and the maid stayed in the room for what seems to be about 3o minutes, they soon got up and left the room with the manager leading them out. The maid was a bit confuse and wanted to ask however she stayed quiet.

Celestia Looks up and saw that the driver looks different, she pause her step for a moment which alerted the maid.

"My lady what's wrong?"

"I want some cake on 5th street are you able to get that for me, but I can't go with you because this afternoon sir Keane will come over and see me, I don't want to make him wait."

The maid was smart and she seem the plan may have change so she went along with Celestia. Celestia likes smart people and it seems like lady Riverdale's personal maid isn't so dumb.

"Yes my lady I'll go there and get your usual cake."

"Thank you, I'll get the butler to send someone to come pick you up."

Celestia and the maid went their separate way, this was all notice by the driver. Celestia saw that the man look relief. Celestia sat in the carriage and calmly as she waits for the show to start.
