Chapter 22: Two Different People

When Austin opened his eyes again, the scene in front of him had changed completely. He was lying on a standard bed in an unfamiliar place that felt slightly familiar in his memory. Austin felt familiar not because he had been in this place before. He only knew he was in the hospital, as he was used to staying there ever since his illness became known to people.

Austin saw an unfamiliar sight in front of him and wanted to speak, but inadvertently elicited a familiar feeling of pain from his chest. Austin was never used to that kind of pain. So quickly, the teenager again closed his mouth to recall what exactly happened until he could wake up in the hospital.
