Chapter 74: Chapter 73: Final Trial of the Third Labyrinth
"How did you guys make this?" Shizuku asked in disbelief, pointing at the silver and black, angular-looking, futuristic boat called 'Vela' that Hajime had pulled out from his <Treasure Box>.

'Vela' is a futuristic-looking vehicle that Hajime and Rihito designed, it can act as a boat and a submarine, in the Orcus Labyrinth. It measures 10 meters in length and 4 meters in width, with facilities accommodating up to 10 people. Rihito aimed to make the boat temperature-resistant during its construction, so he and Hajime built it using Azantium and Shtar Stone. They enchanted the entire boat with heat, cold, and impact resistance. Additionally, they applied the <Diamond Skin> enchantment to make it as indestructible as possible.
Hajime sees Vela float in the magma without being affected by its heat and smiles.
Yue observed this and shook her head, recalling how both Hajime and Rihito had spent days without eating or sleeping to create these items and a few others. In the end, she had to forcibly drag the two of them out to take a rest.
"Sigh… you know what? I will not even ask how Rihito and you can make these. Let's just go to that stupid trial we are here for…" Shizuku gave up, she didn't want to think about this anymore.
Shea, seeing Shizuku give up, patted her shoulder in sympathy. Shea, too, once was constantly surprised to see Rihito and Hajime do absurd things.
With that, they headed deeper following the magma river for hours.
On the way a swarm of bats attacked but they got instantly decimated by Yue and Tio's Magic.

Outside of Vela, Yue's spell created a serpent made of wind that attacked the flock of bats, slaughtering them.

Tio's spell on the other hand created a wind tornado that shredded the remaining bats clearing the area.
Just as they dealt with them the flow of magma started to increase.
Hajime narrowed his eyes seeing this.
"Everyone, brace yourself!" He warned.
Shea, Shizuku, Yue, and Tio prepared themselves, clenching their seats.
The magma became turbulent as Hajime controlled Vela, carefully navigating through the molten rock and avoiding obstacles. The further they went, the more turbulent the magma became.
Hajime seeing this had a premonition and warned again, "Careful! A magma waterfall is up ahead."
As he spoke, a cave opening came into view, and just as he said, all the turbulent magma was pouring out of the opening to the centre of the volcano.
Vela came out of the cave and was thrown into the open falling down in a large magma pool.
"Nagumo do something," Shizuku screamed from her seat.
While Shizuku screamed, Shea remained calm, believing that Rihito and Hajime had taken precautions. Vela should have a solution for this situation, Yue also thought the same thing. Tio is also somewhat calm still she was prepared to react if anything went wrong.
Hajime grasped the controls tightly and pressed several buttons, activating the Gravity enchantments. Vela's descent slowed, gently landing in the large magma pool.
Hajime and the others looked around and found themselves in a vast open space filled with magma. From the walls, they observed that similar to the place they had just exited, there were other areas where magma was flowing out. In the centre of this space stood a massive Island. On top of which lay a dome of magma, and many long, large stone pillars surrounded the island.
"Is that a Magma dome or what," Shizuku asked.
"That maybe it," Hajime spoke.
"Yue, what do you think?" Hajime asked and looked at her.
Yue looked a Hajime and nodded, "It's here…"
"We are finally here," Shea said in awe.
"So, this is the final trial of the Gruen Volcano," Tio exclaimed, impressed by the sight before her. It was no wonder that no one had been able to access the powers hidden within the depths of each labyrinth. The journey to this location was nearly impossible, and the only reason they had made it this far was the artefacts that Hajime and Rihito had created. Without their help, reaching this place would have been unachievable.
Hajime started to drive closer to the so-called island. As they reached near the large pillars. Yue detected something.
"Hajime!"
As soon as she called out something crashed beneath Vela tossing it in the air.
Bam!
"Waa… what was that," Shea asked.
Others also thinking the same looked outside to see what attacked them.
They saw a large serpent made of magma emerge from the magma below, its head as big as Vela, attempting to crush her with its jaws.
Tio and Yue readied their magic. But before they could do anything.
Hajime clicked three buttons.
A small compartment opened from Vela's side, and three missiles came out and launched towards the serpent's head, obliterating it.
Booom!!
The explosion blew the serpent's head.
Hajime then flew the Vela to the nearest pillar where everyone got out and prepared to fight.
Just as they did, they witnessed similar to the first one, many serpents made of magma staring at them with red eyes. There were about 50 serpents.
Hajime put Vela away and readied Donner and Schlag.
"It seems we had triggered the trial," Hajime said looking at the magma serpents.
Hajime looked at Shea, Shizuku, and Tio. "Listen, everyone. I analysed the last serpent, and I found these serpents had a core inside them. As long as you don't destroy it, these serpents will regenerate endlessly. So, you better watch out."
He looked at Yue, gave her a meaningful glance and nodded. Hajime remained silent, having already given instructions to everyone. Yue saw Hajime's glance and understood what needed to be done; there was nothing more to say.
"Nn…" Nodding to Hajime Yue closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She prepares herself to use <Mana Sence> at full. Unlike Rihito, she could not use mana sense for a long time. The tremendous info dump was just too much for her to handle for a long amount of time, currently, she can manage about an hour. However, if she pushes herself and relies on her regeneration, she can use it for up to 5 hours. But in exchange the whole time her head will hurt like it is about to explode. Yue would prefer not to do that.
So, she had found a way to partially activate it, until now she had been using mana sense partially which limited the range and the amount of information she was getting, still, with that she was getting enough information to watch out for sudden attacks.
Yue activated <Mana Sence> fully, just as she did a tremendous amount of information flowed in her mind.
The amount of mana, the number of monsters hiding, the number of magical items present, the number of magical cores Hajime mentioned and finally, the one thing she has been watching for.
