Noah leaped across several rooftops, dealing with criminals as he usually did. He managed to apprehend a few people who were in the midst of a robbery.
After knocking them out, he left them unconscious; they were only armed with baseball bats, so this time, he taught them a lesson.
He had Alfred send a video of the robbery along with the criminals' location to the police for further action.
After that, he found a group of people who looked like a small gang. He also dealt with them and asked Alfred to send the information and location to the police station.
Noah was also getting ready to head back home, leaving the rest of the work to the authorities. Initially, he considered appearing quietly by George's bedside, like Batman To give him information. But after thinking it over, he decided against it. After all, George was married, and he was worried that his little Venom might see something children shouldn't. After all, Venom was his little buddy. And most importantly, George was Gwen's father—Noah didn't want to imagine his reaction if he discovered that Noah was Venom.
So instead, he instructed Alfred to send the video and location to the police station.
Returning home, Noah took some time to get used to his newfound strength. This connection with Gwen had brought him significant improvement, he planned to spend more time fully integrating his powers as soon as possible.
This power boost was enormous, and it might take some time to fully digest it. Noah hoped the process wouldn't take long, as he disliked feeling out of control.
Now, Noah felt his overall fitness was extraordinary, at least by Earth's standards. Only the Hulk surpassed him in physical strength. But despite his current prowess, he still felt unprepared for future crises.
Noah excelled in one-on-one combat, but in the event of a large-scale crisis like the Battle of New York, where numerous creatures invaded, defeating them one by one would be impossible.
"Do I have too few attack techniques?"
"It seems I need to make some skills for myself," Noah thought.
While reflecting on this, Noah decided not to sleep that night. He wanted to master his new power as quickly as possible.
It wasn't until the morning sunlight streamed into his room and Luke called him downstairs for breakfast that Noah finally stretched and ended his meditation.
Although he hadn't slept all night, he still felt full of energy. After a night of training, the overwhelming sensation of power had finally settled, and he had fully absorbed his new strength.
After breakfast, Noah returned to his room and took a nap. It wasn't until noon that he went downstairs for lunch. Luke was still busy in the kitchen, and Mia was helping him.
The kitchen was filled with the smell of delicious food.
Noah sat alone at the dining table, reading the newspaper.
[It's 2007, folks—newspapers weren't obsolete just yet.]
That morning, he had been too focused on eating to pay attention to the news.
"The NYPD has apprehended a criminal gang and brought them to justice."
These sharp-nosed reporters had already started covering last night's events.
As expected, the police handled the situation well.
Venom was not mentioned in the news and the police station got the spotlight. This preserved the dignity of the police force and kept Venom out of trouble.
This way, both sides had a tacit understanding.
Noah didn't want to publicize his actions every time. For him, eliminating criminals was the main goal, and everything else was a means to that end.
Now that Venom had garnered enough fame, Noah didn't need more recognition than he already had.
This also helped maintain the social order—he aimed to punish those who slipped through the cracks, not to disrupt the system.
His public display in Times Square had served to rack up points and to deter criminals.
Now that he was known among the public and criminals alike, there was no need for additional fame. It's better to make money quietly.
After watching the news for a bit, the meal was almost ready.
Both Noah and the Venom inside him couldn't wait.
"I'll give you 30% of the beef ribs and 50% of the other dishes. Let's make up for letting you taste the bullet yesterday. How about that?" Noah and Venom were communicating internally.
"Oh! So happy! Beef ribs, beef ribs!" Venom was so excited that his rough voice couldn't hide his glee.
After his excitement, Venom bargained: "How about a 60:40 split? You get four, and I get six. That gunpowder taste from yesterday still makes me want to puke. I need some comfort food."
Seeing Venom drive such a hard bargain, Noah was momentarily speechless. "Why do you get more shameless as you grow older? Where did you learn this?"
"You should learn from me! If you're not smooth, no woman will be attracted to you, and you'll stay single."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. So, can I take four?" Venom, nodding in agreement, asked eagerly.
Noah, exasperated, replied, "Alright, alright, you get six, and I'll take four."
"Yes! So happy!" Venom cheered.
"Son, come and help set the table," Mia called from the kitchen.
"Coming!" Noah stood up, helped with the dishes, and finally, the meal was served.
After dinner, Noah headed out in his car.
Venom and Noah, both satisfied with their meal, were driving along, singing songs, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Before long, they arrived at their destination—Peter's house.
That's right; that afternoon, Noah and Peter were going to finish assembling their Lego set. Harry had also joined the project.
The three of them worked until evening before finally finishing. After declining Uncle Ben and Aunt May's invitation to dinner, Noah headed home.
Later that night, after dinner, Noah lay in bed, waiting for nightfall.
He planned to take the initiative and seek out the Ghost Spider tonight—Gwen.
As darkness fell, Noah, in his Venom suit, leaped out the window and dashed into the distance.
At that moment, Gwen was crouching on a rooftop.
Her injury had healed faster than expected, thanks to Noah applying medicine when Venom had taken over her body—though Gwen had no idea.
She looked down at the endless stream of vehicles below and said, "Red Rose, is there anything happening? Are you sure you don't want to change that codename? It's really kind of cheesy."
Mary's voice replied through the earpiece, "Two blocks away, a man just robbed a supermarket at gunpoint, and he's heading your way."
"Is that so bad? I think it matches my hair color pretty well."
"There are plenty of cool code names for red, right?" Gwen said, launching herself in the direction Mary had pointed out, shooting a web and swinging effortlessly between buildings.
A man running down the street blended naturally into the night. After running for a bit, convinced of his safety, he stopped. He pulled the cash from his pocket—his haul from the robbery.
As he counted the money, a web shot down, wrapping around his leg. In an instant, he was hoisted upside down, the money scattering across the ground.
Before he could react, someone leaped down and landed in front of him. The thief craned his neck to look up and saw a pair of long legs wrapped in a white and black combat suit—a ghost spider.
He cursed his luck, knowing well of both Ghost Spider and Venom. Initially, he had wanted to buy something today but found his pockets empty. Coincidentally, he had a gun on him, and when he saw the scrawny store clerk, he couldn't resist.
Now, face to face with the Ghost Spider, he started pleading, "Oh! I'm sorry. Please give me a chance. I'll never do it again."
Gwen coldly replied, "Tell the rest to the police."
Just as she prepared to web him up, the thief, without a word, pulled out a gun and started firing.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Gwen dodged the bullets with ease, showcasing her spider sense and quick reflexes.
When the final shot was fired, the thief tossed the gun aside, raising his hands in surrender. It was a comical scene—hanging upside down with his hands up—but Gwen wasn't laughing.
"Does this guy think he can get away with anything just because I don't kill?" Gwen fumed.
At that moment, a gunshot rang out, and the thief's head exploded. His body hung lifelessly, blood dripping onto the ground.
Gwen turned immediately to see Venom lowering his gun on a nearby rooftop.
"Why is Mr. Venom interfering in my business?" Gwen asked icily.
"You didn't like people interfering in yours either," Venom retorted.
"So why shoot him?"
Noah was at a loss for words, sensing the anger in Gwen's voice. He had been watching the thief's actions and felt rage well up inside him.
"This damn criminal dared to shoot Gwen!" he thought furiously, pulling the trigger.
But now Gwen was mad.
Seeing her reaction, Noah felt guilty. "Alright, I'm sorry. He was just too irritating, and I couldn't help it."
Hearing Noah's apology, Gwen was taken aback. "Is this really Venom? What happened to him?"
Noah knew Gwen was the Ghost Spider, but Gwen didn't know that Noah was Venom. The last time they met, Venom had given Gwen quite the lesson.
But this time, Venom seemed different, and Gwen was confused.
Sensing her confusion, Noah knew his actions had been wrong.
He gazed at her thoughtfully, unsure of what to say or do.
After a moment of hesitation, Noah made a decision.
He wanted to be honest with Gwen, to reveal that he was Venom.
Because he didn't want to deceive her.
Noah said in a deep voice:Ghost Spider,I have something I want to talk to you about.
