Chapter 2: Be stronger

The next morning, the family of three had breakfast together as usual.

After sending his parents out, Noah hurried back to his room, then turned on the computer and searched.

He wanted to check if there were any famous boxers or wrestlers in Queens. These people's physical fitness should be considered a relatively high group among ordinary people.

The more venom possessed, the more feedback he gets, and the stronger he becomes.

So, he was going to find these athletes with excellent physical fitness to improve himself.

As for why they didn't look for those extraordinary humans, on the one hand, it was because these people were too difficult to find, and they didn't know where they were before Iron Man was born.

On the other hand, it was because Noah was worried that the other party's physical fitness was too different from his own, and something unexpected would happen.

So, to be on the safe side, he decided to look for strong ordinary people first.

After a day of data searching and investigation, Noah found three athletes in Queens, two of them were boxers and one was an NBA star. These three were his temporary targets.

After dinner, Noah went back to the bedroom and lay down on the bed with his eyes closed to rest his mind. At the same time, a puddle of black liquid was drawn from his body.

After being tamed by the system, the current venom had no strong aggressiveness toward the host. It had been rebuilt into the original state.

Although the current venom in this initial state did not have as much of an increase in physique and combat power as the mature venom of the full body, it was better than being completely controlled by Noah, and would not be as evil and rebellious as the mature body.

Moreover, the venom in the initial state could grow together with Noah's growth and had high potential value. In the future, it would definitely only be stronger than the previous mature body.

Noah attached part of his consciousness to Venom, and then moved with it.

His consciousness guided Venom toward the place he investigated during the day.

About half an hour later, the venom stopped in front of a building, where there was the first selected target—boxer Brian.

The venom climbed up the walls of the building, and soon reached the target's 26th floor. After reaching the floor, the venom penetrated into the building through the gaps and reached the corridor on the 26th floor.

In room 2603, the venom got in through the crack of the door and reached the room.

There was no one in the huge room, and the neon lights of the city came in from the floor-to-ceiling windows and flashed on the floor.

The living room window displayed Bryan's career accolades, including several trophies and a gold belt.

Noah and Venom wandered around the house while waiting for Brian to return.

Not long after, with the click of the door lock, the door opened.

Noah excitedly looked at the door that was about to open in the corner and thought to himself, "He's finally back!

The door opened, a man and a woman hugged each other, entered the room while kissing each other, and then fell down on the sofa again.

Noah, hiding in the corner,he looked at the two on the sofa speechlessly.

However, Venom had never seen this scene before, so it watched very enthusiastically.

Noah could feel Venom's full curiosity, because every time they changed positions, Venom would not take its eyes off them.

Noah looked at the two people who were playing games on the sofa, then looked at Venom, and used his consciousness to cover Venom's vision, saying, "Hey, children, don't look at these unhealthy things. It's not good for growth."

"Meow meow?" Venom was full of question marks. It had been rebuilt by the system and was growing again. It was the time to be curious about everything.

"And Why am I the only one who doesn't watch?"

Maybe because he sensed Venom's question, Noah coughed lightly and said, "Ahem, I'm going to be an adult soon,

"I'll let you see when you grow up."

Venom: "..."

After waiting for a long time, Brian and his girlfriend finally finished the game and began to lie down on the bed to rest.

Noah and Venom, who were hiding in the corner, also started to step forward and prepare to possess.

Venom moved quickly to the side of the bed and seeped into Brian's body.

The two of them lying on the bed had already fallen into a deep sleep, and they didn't feel any strange sensation.

Noah took the time to look at Brian's female companion. Her hot figure could not be covered by the thin blanket.

"Concentrate! Concentrate!" Noah glanced at her and reminded himself in his heart.

After clearing his chaotic thoughts, he concentrated on following Venom to possess Brian.

After a while, Venom and Noah, who were finally done, returned along the same path and moved quickly back home.

Noah, lying on the bed, sat up as the venom that had returned through the window fell onto his hands and seeped into his body.

The moment the venom penetrated, he immediately felt a force merge into his body.

Feeling the power in his body that gradually melted into him, Noah squeezed his fist and thought in his heart: "Although it's not a big change, I can feel that my strength and physique have become stronger."

Open the data panel

Host: Noah

Age: 17

Height: 180

Intelligence: 30 (common average 20, a relatively intelligent youth)

Strength: 120-150kg (a very strong youth)

Speed: 15 (a very agile youth)

Current Capabilities: None

The original strength of 80-110kg had changed to 120-150kg, and the evaluation had also changed from "relatively strong" to "very strong."

Speed had also increased from 10 to 15, from "somewhat agile" to "very agile."

Intelligence had not changed much; it was estimated that the boxer's physical fitness had not improved intelligence.

After reading his own data panel, Noah conducted a full coverage of the battle suit again.

"This sudden increase in strength is indeed very comfortable," Noah thought to himself.

"However, after the strength increases, you still need to get used to it. The current improvement is not particularly huge. When there is a sudden huge improvement in the future, it will be troublesome to just adapt to the strength."

After this possession, both Venom and Noah had grown to a certain extent.

And as Venom continued to grow, it would increase Noah's overall combat power more and more.

After this possession, Noah also learned a piece of news from Venom's feedback. At this stage, each possession of Venom needed a certain amount of time buffer before the next possession.

However, as Venom's ability improved, the rest time it needed would become shorter and shorter.

After learning about this situation, Noah pondered in his heart: "It seems that the other two people have to slow down first. This period of time is just enough to get used to the current strength."

"Why don't you go out and try your skills? I remember that people seem to be robbed at night recently."

After possessing a unique power, Noah want to try it, and he was also ready to do it.

He first carefully confirmed that his parents had fallen asleep, and then he jumped out of the window and merged with the night.

New York is the most developed city on earth, but its glamorous appearance cannot hide its deep sin.

Where the light of the city does not shine, darkness also runs rampant.

Under the dim streetlights, Rachel was walking briskly.

"Damn it, it's all because of that stupid pig-like boss. Why did he put his work on my head, so I missed the last bus?"

She secretly scolded that pig-headed boss in her heart while walking home quickly.

The more Rachel thought about it, the angrier she became, and at the same time, she was a little afraid that something might happen.

After all, New York at night is not so peaceful, and people had been robbed in these neighborhoods recently.

Thinking of this, Rachel's footsteps became more hasty, and she didn't want to encounter any bad luck.

But reality is always unreasonable, and the more you fear something, the more it will happen.

In the direction Rachel was heading, a few men with "I'm a hooligan" written on their faces were talking to each other, laughing strangely.

Just as Rachel found them, they also saw her.

"Oh! Damn it!" Sensing the gazes of those people, Rachel cursed secretly and then hurriedly turned another way.

While trotting, she looked back from time to time to see if she had shaken off the group of people.

At the same time, she also prayed in her heart: "God bless! Don't follow me! Don't follow me!"

Just when she was about to walk out of the street, those gangsters had already blocked her way from both ends.

Seeing the gangsters approaching gradually, Rachel slowly backed away.

In the end, she was forced to the corner and sat down on the wall weakly, begging in a trembling voice: "My money is in the bag, you take it all, please don't hurt me!"

The men were closing in, their eyes gleaming with malicious intent. One of them, the tallest, with a scar running down his cheek, sneered. "Oh, look at this, boys. We got ourselves a scared little rabbit." He took a step closer, making Rachel flinch.

Rachel clutched her handbag tightly, her body trembling, but she was too terrified to run anymore. "Please… I don't have much. Just take what you want. I won't call the cops, I swear!"

The man laughed, as though mocking her fear. "Oh, sweetie, we're not interested in your money. We want to have some fun first." His voice dripped with cruelty.

Just as the tension in the air thickened, the shadows around them seemed to shift. A dark figure emerged from the alley, moving swiftly like a wraith. It was too fast for the thugs to notice until it was almost upon them.

Noah, cloaked in the inky blackness of the night, watched from the shadows. His new strength surged through him, and the sensation of power was intoxicating. He couldn't wait to test his abilities in a real situation. With Venom's help, he had grown stronger, faster—more capable than he had ever been before. The thugs had no idea what was about to hit them.

Without making a sound, Noah darted forward, his movements fluid and silent. In an instant, he was on top of the first thug, grabbing his wrist with a vice-like grip and twisting it painfully. The man let out a yelp as Noah effortlessly disarmed him, sending the knife clattering to the ground.

The other thugs froze in shock, their eyes widening as they saw the shadowy figure, cloaked in darkness, appearing out of nowhere. Noah didn't give them a second to react. He launched forward again, his speed and strength overwhelming. He struck the next thug with a swift punch to the stomach, sending him sprawling to the ground.

The third thug tried to swing a bat at Noah, but he was too slow. With a fluid motion, Noah ducked under the swing and kicked him hard in the chest. The thug flew backward, crashing into the wall with a sickening thud.

Rachel's eyes widened in disbelief as she watched the entire scene unfold before her. One minute she was cornered, fearing for her life, and the next minute, the gang was on the ground, completely incapacitated.

Noah didn't stop. He moved like a force of nature, his strength augmented by the venom inside him. The thugs didn't stand a chance.

Within moments, all three were lying on the ground, groaning in pain, unable to move.

Noah took a deep breath, his body pulsing with the energy of the venom. He turned to face Rachel, who was still sitting against the wall, wide-eyed and breathless.

"Are you okay?" Noah asked, his voice low and calm, though his heart raced with adrenaline.

Rachel blinked, still trying to process what had just happened. She looked at Noah with a mix of fear and gratitude. "Y-yeah. I think so... but... who are you?" Her voice trembled as she clutched her bag tightly.

Noah considered the question for a moment before responding. "Just someone who doesn't like bullies."

Rachel stared at him for a moment, unsure of what to make of him. "Thank you," she said softly, her voice full of relief.

Noah nodded, his face partially concealed in the shadows, making it difficult to read his expression. "Be careful next time. This part of the city can be dangerous."

Without another word, Noah turned and melted back into the darkness, leaving Rachel behind in stunned silence. She watched him disappear into the night, unsure if he had been real or just a shadow in her imagination.

After a few moments, she let out a shaky breath and stood up, finally feeling safe again. She glanced at the thugs still lying motionless on the ground, and quickly realized that whoever—or whatever—had saved her, was more than just human.
