Synopsis

If someone were to travel to the Marvel Universe and gain Superman's physique, how should they survive?

Would they become a superhero, flying through the skies and performing miraculous feats? Or should they hide their powers and live as an ordinary person?

Link made his choice.

In the Marvel Universe, superheroes not only have to work at their own expense, but they also endure constant surveillance and suppression. That's not the life Link wanted.

He chose to blend in with the ordinary people, enjoying a peaceful and carefree existence.

The story starts with the mc becoming a police officer, then later on becoming a shield agent. The rank given to him is pretty illogical but later proves to the shield that he deserves such a rank. There is some slice of life, and his psychology skills making the story more interesting. His kryptonian skills are being used passively in this story, which is alright. He uses his X-ray vision as a hidden ace at his gambling, and also his psychology skills to read micro expressions. I will give this story a solid 5 stars. The characters have a soul, the updates are decent, the translation is very good. It's a good read for me. Also! do not worry about the chinese patriotism in this story, not much is shown except that he's a chinese american, knows mandarin and also likes eastern artworks. Happy reading!

!! this fic does not follow any chinese supremacy propoganda so ignore those others haters who hate it just because it's chinese !!(This is a very well translated fic worth every power stone) A very worthy read I would say. You will surely enjoy it if you don't like MC using their power everywhere. And read the damn synopsis please it's clearly written there that MC has the powers of superman but doesn't want to be a hero. So don't expect him to wear the supes suit and go around saving lives. He's a peace loving MC who is making his life easy while using the powers passively in both his shield agent job and in personal life. A must read and literally gold.

Does mc have eighth grader syndrome? Why does he behave adequately at first and try to hide, and then openly defies the league of assassins, it's so cringe-worthy, of course I'm not talking about other disadvantages, such as a romantic line or the fact that people just give mc millions of dollars as if it's normal, that it's unclear who was taken into the shield is generally a separate the theme. It's a pretty mediocre piece.

Very good story, well developed background and using his powers in a plausible way, not just going in head first actually thinking things through.

great translation! The downside of all translations from Chinese is that MC is not that smart himself and to make him look smart the authors as usual making everyone else dumb to make MC look smart. The novel in itself was interesting to read until chapter 30-40, after which it started resembling all other fanfictions written by authors from that part of earth

I must say that the translator did a great job translating this fan-fic. It definitely difficult to translate it to while keeping certain aspect of this being a chinese novel, but not bringing in any of their weird ideology or nationalism. I read a couple of chapters, and people keep complaining about chinese trash. Stop and get some help, I don't know how the original novel was, but talking HOAs and moving to an apartment is a normal American thing. Just because what your value doesn't match that of the mc doesn't make it automatically chinese. So far, I haven't seen any weird trend or chinese nationalism, which I think the translator tried his best to avoid those, so just enjoy it and stop being racist.

One of the best translation fanfics I have read. Not sure about the complaints of Chinese stuff but there is none, the closes thing you will find is the MC being Chinese-American. Other than that, it reminds me strongly of Detective in Marvel World (or another world, whatever it was called). Except this MC is powerful, otherwise they are similar. Almos like someone read the other story and got tired of the author artificially holding back the MC and decided to do it another way. The MC remains low key in terms of his power, ie do stuff but hide how he did them. He is involved in his own life, not really looking to become the typical hero. Overall, if you like powerful and low key its a good read.

The translation is very good, despite the "Chineseness", I really liked the work, I'm waiting for the next chapters. The main character is not an idiot, he doesn't look mega super imbalanced (despite his skills), he doesn't pretend to be a weakling, it's nice to read. Respect to the translator!!

Unique and different take on a often used and favorite go to fan fiction of isakei as Superman in marvel. The author does a fantastic job of taking a never really explored path of a kryptonians powers. He keeps the story grounded and entertaining without relying on throwing on the tights within 4 chapters and punching Odin in the face. I highly recommend checking this one out for those of you looking for something to loose yourself into with the world this author has built.

Giving 5 stars so hopefully translator keeps on going. Interesting story so far. Just that MC feels to much apathetic. Glad that MC is actually using Superman's supposed super intelligence, but still not "fully" utilizing it though or maybe I'm overestimating Supe's super intelligence.

It started out laughable but then got better. Then it started throwing in a few China1 and that was mildly annoying. The MC is going through the MCU, a fairly common trope. The story is interesting enough to keep this in library.

Honestly, it's one of the best superman fics out there. Doesn't get your blood boiling through action just yet, but it'll come soon; I can feel it. It's for a chill read who likes logical thinking and actions. The main character, despite being superman, retains his humanity. I know it might seem superfluous but living life like a human has its charms, even if you're immortal. The relationship was a bit abrupt initially, but was executed pretty well. You can see the development and it doesn't feel that much forced and they do kinda fit well together. For the world background of the character, it's actually pretty reasonable. The psychology background is pretty neat, and uses it reasonably. Though, I think it's a bit fast to be in a high positiob as he switched jobs, the justification can barely suffice I guess. Nothing can't be perfect. All in all, I'm super hyped to see more chapters of this fic! Kudos to you translator! Keep it up.
