Chapter 109: Fang Tian

[Fang Clan, Three days Ago]

Fang Tian had just finished a meeting with his clan's Elders when he came out to take a stroll in the garden. His gaze was drawn to the Fountain in the Center.

Memories of his late wife resurfaced in his mind. She'd always tell him how peaceful she felt near the fountain.

She used to laugh and play with the water, and she even used to sit near the fountain with their only son and tell him stories.

At the time, he was only one of the Patriarch's two sons; his elder brother was quite talented and was being groomed to be the next in line patriarch.

But everything changed that night. The Demons attacked the continent, apparently out of nowhere. Nobody knew why they attacked, but it devastated the entire continent.

Many clans were decimated, and many sects were destroyed. The blow was also felt by his clan.

His father and many of the Elders were killed while defending the clan.
