Chapter 79: Ikinokori

Toshi stood outside the room with the wall behind his back, his arms crossed with each other and listened to the sorrowful cries of Sheila. She was going through a breakdown and Toshi didn't want to interrupt her.

He let both of them have their time without any disturbance.

Sheila let loose all the pain which was inside her heart. And, Raiden provided her warmth with his presence around her. He was there to look after Sheila. That was what he promised Jun and was determined to do whatever it takes to protect her.

Losing one more of his friends and that in front of his eyes, it wasn't easy for Raiden. But, he had to move on with the past or else he would be forever stuck with those memories and repeat the same mistake.

The room finally silenced. Sheila cried all her heart out. There was not a single thing left hidden in her heart. 

Both of them slowly retracted themselves from each other.
