'What a misfortune, the first time Father send me to a mission that befits my knight's skillset and this happened!' I thought as I look at Count Formal who was talking with the man in black.

I was so happy when fathers sends me for this reconnaissance and happily accept his order. On the way, we heard the coalition Army that was sent to fight the people on the other side of the gates has been pulled back. From what I heard from the scouts that I send, Father has sent them to their deaths while the Empire Army pulled back and stay to watch the coalition being slaughtered. But, it backfired as the coalition found out about this and allying themselves with the enemies.

Not only that, when we arrived at a village close to Alnus we got news from the refugees of Coda Village that they managed to take down the Fire Dragon with ease. It seems that their leader is a strong person from their conversation and now, it seems that I have met with the said leader if what he said that his fight with Rory Mercury is only a warm up is real.

After finishing his talk with Count Formal, he left the room being guide by the maid of the Mansion to their room. Seeing this I get close to Count Formal and asked.

"Count Formal, did you also betrayed the Empire? You should now the consequences of this if Father's find out about this!" I said.

"Consequence? I don't think it will happen as you said, Princess! The Empire has stepped on the Dragon Tails and this Dragon is quite a vengeful one. It won't let go until it eradicated the one that opposed it!" he said with a sure tone to his voice and I have to believe it.

Not only this personal power is strong his own subordinate is also strong and was equipped with a weird weapon that can reap life as easy as mowing the grass from what I see when they slaughter the bandits that attack Italica just now.

"This, wha-what should we do? The Empire won't survive this disaster if they attack us!" I asked.

"It is not we but what should Empire do? I already surrender myself and swear my loyalty to them! And if I say so myself, I like them better who treated their subjects with kindness than the Empire who only use us until we loss our usefulness." he said coldly.

"I already heard what happen with the coalition. The Empire sends them to their death to weaken them because of their loss from their first attack. So, the Emperor sends them to balance things out." he said.

"The Empire is ending Princess, not only they made enemies of the Shinra and Japan which is the power from the other side. They also made their vassals angry with them that they changed allegiance to the enemies who treated them right, Tell that to Emperor Molt!" he said before he leaves me along with Grey and Hamilton.

"How dare him, that traitor say that to the Princess. He should be beheaded for his impudent!" said Hamilton in an angry tone.

"Stop it, Hamilton! He is right with his choices, from the past we the Empire already held the belief of Might makes Right! It's just we are the weak ones here in this war. So we can't complain about it." I said resignedly.

"This is bad Princess, if we fight with those people. It will be a slaughter fest for them with us who are being slaughtered!" said Grey seriously, gone was his joking manner.

"You are right, Grey! I have to do something! I will do anything to get their forgiveness even if I have to offer myself to them!" I said while calculating how to talk with the leader of the man in black.

"I don't think it will be that simple though!" I heard Grey mutter to himself but ignored it as what can we do at this time besides attempting this plan.

"Heh, so that what the princess thinks to do!" I said to myself while listening to the bugs that I implanted at the room where they talk.

"How dare that bitch trying to seduce our Ayumu for their lives!" shouted Karla angrily.

"Calm down Karla! It was just a move of a cornered animal!" said Sera coldly even though I can see her anger manifest from her back. Where the hell did she learn to manifest a Hanya mask with her aura?

"fufufu, it was fun seeing the princess struggle with her worry. So, what will you do about it?" asked Rory laughing in glee.

"What will I do? There's no change to my plan! I will kill all the pests and put a new puppet ruler in their place! She got her wish at saving the Empire, just not in the form that she wished for! For they will be under my rules from now on!" I said coldly.

"Hahaha, it will be fun for the next few days!" said Haruna.

"Don't be too harsh to her!" said Eu who was sitting in my lap while looking up to me.

"Its okay Eu, I will just make the undesirable elements off the ruling seats and take over. The princess and the innocent citizens and the Senate won't be harm. After all what use for me conquering them if there are no people to rules?" I said with a smile.

Two hours later, Itami arrived at Italica. After talking with Count Formal for a merchant permits they left for selling the Wyvern scales.

After finished with their business right now we meet up in a big room at Count Formal Mansion being served by the Maids.

"My name is Kurata Takeo, 21st years and single!" shouted Kurata to the Catpeople Maid while giving her a salute.

"Hahaha, what are you saluting for? Is she your superior now?" said Haruna while laughing making him red while the Catgirl just giggles at his antics.

Kuribayashi with Karla was talking with the Warriors Bunny after finding out their talent in fight which fascinated her. Eu and Sera were sitting at the side of the Medusa while picking at her snake's hair. Kurisu is now drunk while clinging at me wanting to be spoiled.

Itami and Tomita were drinking sake while being served by the only Human maid with Lelei sit beside him. The miserable one is Rory who has to listen to the head Maid fanatical speech about Emroy. Last is Kurokawa Mari who just take a sit beside me looking at them with a smile.

"So, where are your other squadmates?" I asked her.

"They should be looking after the car! What with it being leftover of the WWII. It was a hassle taking care of it!" she answer.

"Heh, suck to be them then!" I said with a smile.

"fufufu, yes it was! While they work over the car here was the Captain having a party behind their back." she said with a smile.

"I just hope the higher up would send us the newest gear so it will be easier for us." she said before being cut as Kurisu starts to get naughty with her hand.

"Is she always like this?" asked Mari with red faces. Looking at Kurisu who start flirting.

"Yeah, whenever she is drunk which is often!" I said before princess carries her to our room. "It seems our talk has to end here!" I said and left with Eu and Sera follow after us.
