Chapter 49: Who sent you?

The moon, which beautifully illuminated the city of Ignes, was covered by a large cloud that passed slowly, hiding much of its light.

The room, which the moon had illuminated, gradually darkened. The darkness began to hide Kane's face; only his blue eyes shone coldly amidst the shadows.

In a deep voice, Kane asked:

"Who sent you?"

The figure that had infiltrated the room was struggling with all his might to move.

But he didn't know that Kane's skill, "Puppeteer," had already reached level 3, allowing him to control his target's spirit body more efficiently. He had deliberately not turned him into a puppet, as it would be a waste.

He only wanted to immobilize him without completely controlling his spiritual body.

Noticing the lack of response, Kane realized that the person in front of him could not speak due to his ability. He carefully got up from the chair while thinking:
