Having read what Jian had written for Huo, Sarah frowned as she, like the letter had stated, could not accept that jian had decided to leave. Yet, what the letter had gotten wrong was that she did not blame anyone on the matter as she knew that what happened happened and there was no changing that. Of course, that is if they do not find any herbs that specialise in healing that are of a high enough grade that can help Jian grow his arm back however those kinds of herbs are very rare to find even in a peak immortal realm.
Putting the letter down Sarah sighs as she rubbed her temples to ease her mind a little so she could accept the situation at hand more easily. Sarah then calls out to Huo that she will be taking the other letter into the room to read and that once she has finished preparing the food that she should sit down and also read the letter.
Walking out of the kitchen sarah looks over to Ming'er to see if she had woke up yet as she usually wakes up around the time that she does. Looking for a few seconds Sarah concluded that Ming'er was still asleep as she steadily breathed in and out at an even pace.
Seating herself at the table Sarah opened the letter to see what Jian had written for her.
Dear Sarah,
I know that this wasn't the best way to say my goodbyes however I didn't know how to face you all if I had to say goodbye face to face. Although my leaving is partly because of my arm, it is not the sole reason for leaving either. Apart from my arm my other reason for leaving is that I want to become strong; strong enough to stand side by side with you all and fight alongside you all instead of being the luggage you carry around because you fell guilty or responsible for me. And don't deny that you feel guilty or responsible for me as I can see it in your eyes when you look at me as although you try to hide it as best as you can I, I can still see some shreds of guilt within your eyes whenever you look at me. As I have said in Huo's letter, I do not blame you at all; all the blame lies with me and me alone because I let down my guard even though I had only just escaped from danger.
Through the time that we have spent together I have bonded with everyone and come to view you all as the most impotant people in my life. I am sure that if we were to spend more time together I would come to view you all as my own kin however fate has decied that it has other plans in store therefore I have left and decided that I won't meet you all until I am strong enough to fight the fate that tells me that I shouldn't be with you guys.
Before I finish, I wish to once again remind you that it was not your fault. I can't wait to meet you guys if... no, when I become strong enough. Even if I have to become a celestial I will become strong enough to support you all and fight against the world alongside you.
Yours Sincerely
Jian.
Sadly sighing, Sarah begins to think about the fickleness of fate. One day everyone can be happy and together and then the day changes alongside the winds of fate. The next day fate may decide that you lose something precious to you when nothing you had done deserved that kind of 'punishment'. It was as Jian stated, you are at the whims of fate unless you are strong enough to fight against it's current. Whether that 'fate' be others stronger than you or uncontrollable situations such as losing someone to an illness. If you are strong enough, those 'stronger' people can not do anything against you as you have become one that is strong. If you are strong enough you could go to a forbidden region and collect a herb that can cure said illness and keep the ones close to you.
Just as Sarah was immersed in reading her letter, Tian Long had also started his at roughly the same time as not long after Jian left, Da Xin, due to the clumsiness of Tian Long, had woken up and decided that she was hungry again. By the time he had fed and calmed her down it was roughly the time that Sarah had started walking out of the kitchen into the bedroom.
Dear Tian Long,
Not the best way to say goobye, I know but I can not face you guys and still be able to leave as I will fell extremely reluctant. I left as I decided that I wanted to be strong enough to fight alongside you all. I hope that you can relate to wanting to be strong enough to help those that you view important ot you as I have come to view you guys close enough that if we had more time together I would surely call you guys my kin regardless of blood. I know that Sarah and Huo will be saddened by my leaving however I hope that you can take care of them... hahaha... what am I even saying. Rergardless of me telling you to, you would have still taken care of them as you are a softy at heart.
'Am no...' Tian Long was about to interject in his head when he suddenly saw the next sentence that made him chuckle a little.
Let me guess, you will retort by saying that you aren't because you like others to view you as strong, stoic and dependable when, in fact, you are a playboy who is soft at heart and can only bear to kill when provoked. Of course this is what I have seen from you over the time we have spent together however even if you have been more mild because of Sarah's presence some of it is still a core part of what you are as no one can pretend to the degree that they can fool those that know them well enough and spend near enough 24/7 together.
I will miss you guys and can't to the day that I can proudly return with my head held high and fight together with you guys.
Yours sincerely
Jian.
Tian Long stood in silence for a while after he read and the thoguht suddenly struck him that Jian should have delivered his letters to Huo and Sarah who have surely read their's by now as they wake up earlier than Jian and Tian Long (normally). Cleaning himself up whilst occasionally giving Da Xin some attention so that she wouldn't cry out.
Tian Long then made his way to Sarah and Ming'er's room with Da Xin in his arms. On the way to the room Tian Long occasionally looked down at Da Xin and thought to himself what he would do in the future regarding Da Xin. He would never abandon her...however as she aged the blood essence he gave her would act up and cause her to be extremely attracted to him because she has been chosen as his mate because of the procedure, although he can do the ritual more than once and have more mates, the first is always speciall as they attain the most benefits from the blood essence given as the blood essence given out is lower forevery ritual as they are of a lower position than the first mate.
A knock came to the door as Sarah was still thinking over th fickleness of fate. Because Huo was preoccupied in the kitchen Sarah answered the door. She wasn't all that surprised when she saw that it was Tian Long as she saw the letter in his free hand that wasn't carrying Da Xin. Although she didn't mind the matter, her instincts now told her to stay away from Tian Long as he was 'taken'. If Tian Long knew that his sacrifice to save Sarah resulted in this he...he...would have still done it regardless however that doesn't stop him from weeping silent tears at how his pursuit of Sarah had become even harder thanks to the instincts they have as beasts.
Tian Long came in and sat at the table and placed his letter next to Sarah's letter which had been left there whilst she had gotten up to answer the door. It was at this moment that Huo finallly came in with breakfast and silently sat at the side also placing her letter down at th other side of Sarah's letter.
