A dismissive shrug rolled through Chen Mo's shoulders. "What am I so worried about? I've already reached the peak of the Mahayana realm. I can be considered one of the strongest in the mortal realms without even accounting for the myriad laws under my command."

His mind rationalized that even if Xiu Mei transcended the mortal realm, she would still be bound and suppressed by the Heavenly Dao's influence. And with the entire sect under the overriding dominion of his Law of the Heavenly Way, he could exert ample force to subdue her essence unless their realms were too far apart.
