Chapter 30: An Outstanding Wizard Should Have—

A group of people stared in shock at Harry, their minds momentarily frozen. Harry grabbed Dudley by the collar and slammed him against the wall of the alley.

"Dudley Dursley!"

An unrestrained growl emanated from Harry, like a furious beast giving a final warning before an attack.

Dudley looked at Harry's green eyes, feeling an inexplicable weakness. The fat on his face trembled along with his lips.

"Don't speak of my parents in that tone again!"

Dudley was terrified, nodding repeatedly, his apology tinged with a sob.

"I... I didn't mean to, Harry. I was just angry at that time... I won't do it again. I'm sorry. No matter what, I shouldn't have said those things..."

Harry released his grip on Dudley's collar, turned to glance at the others who were lying on the ground—evidently affected by the shockwave—and left without a word.

Dudley, still bewildered, could only twist his head and watch as Harry limped out of the alley.

However, Harry didn't return to Privet Drive. Instead, he went to the community park on Lilac Lane next to Privet Drive, where he sat alone on a swing, holding his head in his hands, full of self-blame.

He needed to wait here for representatives from the Ministry of Magic.

Uncle Moon had mentioned that the Ministry had special magical detection techniques to find wizards casting spells in the Muggle world, and they would apprehend them.

All Harry had to do was wait for them. He even took off the ring and buried it in the ground, so when they caught him, they wouldn't discover he had a magical instrument.

With an anxious heart, Harry waited until the sky dimmed, but no one came for him.

He gazed at the purplish-red sky, muttering to himself, "Could it be... they haven't detected me?"

"Hey!"

A sudden shout startled Harry, but he quickly recognized the voice. Turning around, he saw Uncle Moon, dressed in formal attire, wearing a brown coat and a linen newsboy cap, standing at the entrance.

He lifted his hand, took out a pocket watch from his left chest pocket, checked the time, and then looked at Harry. "What are you doing? Contemplating life?"

Harry hastily stood up, shaking his head. "No... nothing."

Uncle Moon seemed somewhat disappointed. "Still not contemplating life? Do you have to wait until you're eleven to start thinking?"

"Uh... what?"

"Marking you as absent today, canceling your weekend for a month," Uncle Moon said, putting the pocket watch back into his clothes. "Of course, tomorrow is an exception, as it's already planned."

Harry nodded, retrieved the ring covered in dirt from the ground, and hurriedly walked toward the park's entrance.

Looking at the ring stained with mud, Uncle Moon led the way to Privet Drive. Harry lowered his head, hesitant to speak.

"So, why are you foolishly idling here?" Uncle Moon glanced at Harry. "Waiting for the Ministry to come and arrest you?"

Harry paused, then nodded.

"Magic outbursts don't easily attract the Ministry," Uncle Moon explained, taking out a wand-like object. "The Ministry can only detect if you have a wand and if it has a trace attached to it after casting a spell."

"What's a trace?" Harry asked, lifting his head.

"Currently, it's a safety measure, detecting whether underage wizards cast spells outside of school. It's derived from the 'Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery Act' in 1875."

Afterward, Uncle Moon stowed the wand. "This measure only applies to underage wizards. Another rule falls under the International Confederation of Wizards' Law of Secrecy: any magical activity that attracts the attention of Muggles is a serious offense. It applies to wizards of all ages. If Muggles notice magical activity, it's illegal, regardless of whether you used magic or not."

Recalling the events, Harry asked, "So, I violated the latter, the International Confederation of Wizards' Law?"

Uncle Moon nodded, confirming, "Yes, you did."

Then, he looked ahead and continued, "But what does it matter? How does the Ministry monitor this?"

"Is that so?" Harry said in surprise.

Uncle Moon nodded again and turned serious. "However, this doesn't mean you can act recklessly. Maintain control of your emotions and stay rational. I hope you can keep a clear mind at all times, instead of becoming an indifferent person."

Harry shivered and shook his head. "No, I won't."

He thought of the incident at school, lifted his head, and stared straight ahead. "I won't become like Dudley. I disdain becoming that kind of person."

"Dudley? It was because of that you lost control of your magic?" Uncle Moon raised an eyebrow, gaining some understanding. "I see... he said something, and I couldn't hold back..."

Before leaving, he added, "Sorry, Uncle Moon. I couldn't control my emotions."

Shaking his head, Uncle Moon noticed that Harry, who could control his magic independently, had unintentionally caused magical outbursts. Though he wasn't sure what Dudley had said, it seemed to be extremely malicious.

Uncle Moon didn't blame Harry for his reaction. He shook his head and said, "Control your emotions, stay rational. I hope you can maintain clear thinking at all times, not become an indifferent person. You did nothing wrong; no need to apologize."

He turned to look at Harry from head to toe, taking in the bloodstains on his nose, the disheveled clothes, and the bruised cheek.

"But... well, originally, the next step was for you to start brain development. Now that I think about it, maybe we should change direction a bit," Uncle Moon said.

"Change direction?" Harry looked at Uncle Moon, puzzled.

Uncle Moon turned around, facing the setting sun, and slowly raised both arms, bending the right hand into a fist and pointing the left hand upward.

The sun cast a golden glow on Uncle Moon, like he was draped in divine light.

In the shadows, Harry seemed to catch a glimpse of a perfectly sculpted figure, reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.

"An outstanding wizard should unquestionably have a body like gold!" Uncle Moon's voice echoed with the setting sun.

Then...

With a soft "pop," Uncle Moon's belly protruded.

"Uh... couldn't hold it anymore!" Uncle Moon suddenly deflated like a leaking balloon, touching his newly formed paunch with a helpless look. "I've gained quite a bit recently..."
