The words shocked Cyrus. For a minute, he went absolutely blank.

In what terms was he supposed to take these words? It blew his brain and he wasn't able to proceed with a thing that entered inside.

"Hopefully,  that is something we come across on our journey," Cyrus told her, but in reality, it was all because he doesn't want her to feel embarrassed. 

Knowing that once her parents learn that he is not a royal, moreover now that their daughter is married to him, they will probably kill him.
