"Oh," I gaped as I pointed to a glass figurine of a duck. "Ma would like that," I smiled as I pulled on Benedito's arm so he could focus on the duck made out of blue glass.
"Do you want it?" he grinned as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Yes I think so," I nodded.
We were at a little market close to the river that sold hand made products from the locals. It was not my plan to buy anything much besides chocolate obviously but Benedito kept on urging me on and I ended up giving in.
He spoke in Danish to the woman who smiled kindly and wrapped the duck for me. I quickly took out my bank card from my wallet and paid for it much to Benedito's displeasure. Once she handed me the little package I thanked her and one of Benedito's guards immediately took it for safe keeping.
"Why are you making me buy things?" I looked up to him as we continued going from vendor to vendor.
