Black Howler was looking up at the ceiling while sweat dripped down his forehead.
"You've improved a tiny bit, Howler," Max laughed.
His face had just entered Black Howler's field of view. There was an impish grin plastered on his face.
"You lasted two minutes longer than Dragon Joe did," Max admitted, although it still sounded like a tease to Black Howler's ears.
Black Howler had been lying on the mat since Max dropped him with a well-timed spinning heel kick.
He sat up and grumbled, "You've got way too much strength for your small size, Max…"
"Ya-ha-ha! Didn't I teach you not to judge a book by its cover?" Max laughed.
