In the car, Ye Leng'an looked at Huangfu Ruiling who was sitting beside her, and raised her eyebrows curiously. "Why the sudden decision? You used to ignore them. What made you want to cut ties now?"

"Just felt like it," Huangfu Ruiling replied casually. "It's good to set things straight. I don't plan to meddle in their affairs from now on."

Ye Leng'an nodded, then chuckled. "Well, they do seem to have a lot going on! Huangfu Ruixiang's been through the wringer lately. Those two women aren't exactly angels. But after today, things might calm down a bit on his end."

"That's the price of playing the field," Huangfu Ruiling remarked bluntly. "His own promiscuity led to this."
