Chapter 38: Ye Qin vs Wang Tao

The super soldier reacted as it pointed its two guns in different directions and fired

It's gunshots clashed against the kunoichis' daggers as she flew far back and jumped away from it. The kunoichi disappeared again as countless kunais formed a tornado and stormed onto the soldier. The super soldier's aura became dark as its eyes glinted silver before disappearing from the wave of kunais and grabbed onto the kunoichi in the air. Using its strong and flexible limbs, the super soldier held tightly onto the opponent and dropped itself headfirst into the ground

The super soldier which had already gotten away from the defeated kunoichi stood not so far away as its guns were thrown back into their holsters. "What! Ning Caiyan was defeated in just one move!!" someone shouted
"Arg!!! Ning Caiyan actually lost!!!" the person who had agreed to make a bet previously shouted in frustration. On the other hand, the person who bet on the new student celebrated and gloated as loudly as he could
"One move huh, I doubt even I can do that right now." Ye Qin thought as the male student who was his age and stronger than he is without being a Gold Star. "He must have gotten into the academy through a special recommendation." he thought
When the young man won his match, his monster returned to the monster sea as he turned his back to the crowd and pointed his index finger into the air as he walked away angering the crowd
The two boys left the Battle Peak after that match as it was the only match worth watching that day. The two brothers went back to their dorms as they headed to bed and thought about the match they had witnessed

When they woke up early in the morning, Ye Qin and Wang Tao headed straight for the Battle Peak and requested to use one of the platforms to train on. When they got their permission granted, the two headed for the first platform
When they arrived, the two brothers stood on opposite ends and nodded as they both sent out their monsters at the same time

The Qiulong and the Blackgold Python Tiger growled as they faced each other. Taking flight, the Blackgold Python Tiger froze every inch of the platform as the Qiulong slammed its tail and smashed apart some of the ice
The Qiulong flew straight for the Blackgold Python Tiger for close combat as Wang Tao did the same. Both monsters slammed into each other as claws swiped at both monsters, the Qiulong used its huge body to try and wrap up its foe
The Blackgold Python Tiger spread its huge black wings out and shot out poison to prevent itself from being strangled as the two monsters continued their airbourne fight up close and personal
When the Qiulong was slapped away from the Blackgold Python Tiger, it shot a beam of gold element which the tiger responded by doing the same. The two beams of golden element clashed as the Blackgold Python Tiger was pushed back slowly
Seeing this, it added its ice element on top of the gold making it reverse the situation and push back the Qiulong

The Qiulong sent out a stronger output of energy as the two attacks exploded, the Qiulong slammed its tail into the ground and grabbed them with the tip of its tail before hurling them like a baseball at the Blackgold Python Tiger

The Blackgold Python Tiger's wings came closer as it dodged the blocks of ice before sending energy blasts of gold and ice element at the Qiulong. Ye Qin responded as the Qiulong moved its body in perfect motion to dodge the blasts of energy by simply changing the location of its huge limbs
"Not gonna use your 'Time' element boss?" Wang Tao laughed as he stared at his best friend. "No, you need to be able to deal with the space element first." Ye Qin replied with a grin as the battle continued

As it flew in the air, from the tip of its wings, black beads of poison spread throughout the platform dripping down onto the ground creating a sizzling sound. The Qiulong roared as the poison dripping down disappeared as a result of its cries as the Blackgold Python Tiger was slightly disrupted during its flight

The Blackgold Python Tiger dived into the ground and landed before sending a chilling roar up at the Qiulong that floated in the air. The chill from the air froze parts of the platform in the air but didn't affect Ye Qin's dragon. The Blackgold Python Tiger roared again as the air around it started spreading out like a constant wave of shockwaves
If one were to look carefully, they would be able to see tiny specks of ice being formed around the Blackgold Python Tiger as the shockwaves grew larger and larger. The tiny specks of ice glittered as the entire platform starts being covered in ice
The Qiulong waved its tail to destroy the ice in the air as it shot a small ball of energy at its foe

The energy ball broke through the thousands of glittering ice as it came closer and closer to the Blackgold Python Tiger. When it was about to make contact, the energy blast appeared as though it hit an invisible wall and dispersed into tiny particles
The Blackgold Python Tiger moved its front paw and slammed it into the ground creating giant pillars of ice that headed towards the Qiulong. Ye Qin reacted as his dragon stayed frozen inside the iceberg, after just a few seconds, the ice cracked into a thousand pieces as gold element blasted out like mini explosions around the dragon
Bang* Boom*
In front of the Blackgold Python Tiger what seemed to be rings of ice with various sizes in subsequential order. The tiger forcefully gathered the millions of ice specks towards its mouth as all three of its elements gathered into one attack
On Ye Qin's side, the Qiulong roared before gathering energy to fire another beam of energy. This time, it didn't only use its gold element, but also added its time element into the attack. As both sides gathered more and more energy, a warning sign began to enter their ears

[Energy levels are exceeding expected levels. Cease action immediately]

The two brothers ignored the warning signs as both sides prepared to fire with all their might

The Blackgold Python Tiger fired a thin beam of light with gold, blue and black streaks of light rotating around the thin beam as the attack hit each ring shattering the rings

The more rings that the beam of lights shattered, the denser and larger the attack became. Eventually, the attack grew as thick as the Qiulong itself as it reached its opponent. The Qiulong too fired as a beam of gold and dark silverish light made contact with the Blackgold Python Tigers' attack

The two monsters attacks clashed with equal power with both attacks pushing it each other back and forward. Ye Qin and Wang Tao stood on both sides of the platform away from the fight and covered their eyes with their arms away from the blinding lights
The two monsters roared louder and louder as the attacks grew even larger and larger. Back in the teachers' headquarters, the alarm rang causing a commotion within the building
"What's going on?" a teacher shouted
"Two kids are fighting on the Battle Tower!!! What's the peak master doing!!!?" another teacher shouted back
"The energy levels have overloaded the system? That's both amazing and horrifying!!" another teacher shouted again as some teachers ran about to get the problem solved

The battle between Ye Qin and Wang Tao raged on as the commotion continued in the teachers' headquarters. Suddenly, dark clouds loomed over the entire peak as dark purple thunder crashed about
The platform the two brothers were on became dark as all power seemed to have disconnected
Those throughout the campus heard the rumbling of thunder as they wondered what was happening so early in the morning. The two attacks didn't stop clashing, suddenly the loud sound of thunder crashed above the two brothers as a figure appeared in the air
"You twerps causing such a commotion on your first day. Woke me up from my nap." the deep voice of an old man surfaced

The attacks of the two brothers suddenly dispersed as the two monsters flew back and crashed into the platform walls before returning to the monster sea. Ye Qin and Wang Tao uncovered their eyes as they looked above them only to see an old man standing on the head of a huge pitch black dragon that is even bigger than both Ye Qin's Qiulong and Yinglong!
