Chapter 26: The Eccentric Headmaster
When the drumroll stopped, an old man with long white hair and a long white beard appeared in front of them out of nowhere. The lights shone directly at the old man as the ground beneath him started raising him high into the air until it enabled him to look down at all the new students. The old man coughed a few times into his mic hurting the eardrums of some students then he suddenly shouted "ORA!" as his shirt exploded revealing impressive muscles that made him look like a character from an anime created in the past
The old man's huge muscles seemed to be filled with explosive power as his tanned skin was filled with large veins in the areas they should be in. His large pectoral muscles looked as if they were chiseled out of marble like a piece of art whilst his abs weren't just 6, in fact there were 10 when Ye Qin counted!
"Greetings, I am the principal of the Nine Peaks Academy Lu Bu! Just in case you were wondering, my family is believed to have been the descendants of the great warlord Lu Bu of the three kingdoms! Now I welcome you all to the academy starting from today." Lu Bu said
"As you may have already noticed, you are all standing in class groups, however, don't misunderstand. The numbers have nothing to do with how well you did in the exams the year before. Now did you all see the stars on your ID? There should be starting from 0 up until 5, not only that the color of the star has a meaning behind it." the principal continued
"The number of stars you have listed on your ID shows your privileges in this university, whether its discounts or the treatment of your living headquarters and even the things you consume. Naturally 0 is the lowest giving you no advantages whilst 5 is the highest giving you the highest of privileges."
"All students with bronze colored stars from 0 to 5 will live in the same dorm however those with higher stars will be able to enjoy greater benefits of up to a 10% discount on all facilities and other things on campus. Those with silver stars will live in a dorm elsewhere from those with bronze stars and will enjoy greater benefits of up to 20% on all things on campus whilst those with gold stars will live in a dorm separate from those with bronze and silver stars and enjoy up to a 40% discount."
"Now the most important thing is that starting from silver up, the dorms will inhibit both males and females with facilities such as toilets and bathrooms along with rooms to be seperate. Spaces such as a games room, diner, living space and etc will be joint between both genders."
"Depending on the number of stars and the color, you will be able to enjoy greater benefits throughout the university. For example, those with 3 golden stars and above will be able to skip a certain number of lessons as long as they take a test and pass it. For those with 5 stars whether you are bronze or silver, you may not do what those of the gold stars can do."
"Those with 5 stars already may be able to be promoted whether they perform well in lessons or the contributions they make towards their peaks. However, they will start again from 0 stars of the higher grade once they are promoted. For example, a bronze student with 5 stars will become a 0 starred silver grade student. Those with Gold stars cannot be promoted since they are the highest tiers making them the students with the highest potential according to the beliefs of the university."
"But if those Gold starred students do not perform as well as expected, they will be demoted whether they lose a star or the grade of their stars is changed. That's all for my speech, work hard to improve your own living quality!" Principal Lu Bu said loudly to the ending of his speech
"Wait hold on I forgot something, shortly your homeroom teachers will arrive and send you to your dormitories then after that you are all to assemble back here once again." Lu Bu quickly added in as he disappeared from the eyes of all somehow

After hearing the principals speech, students began talking which echoed throughout the hallway. Those with low stars and low grades complained about the unfair treatment whilst those with higher grades were happy, some of them even became smug and showed off to those with lower stars
"So that's what they meant huh, but why didn't he explain what the symbols meant?" Ye Qin thought as he remembered seeing his 5 Gold stars. He also remembered that Wang Tao had 4 Gold stars making the two of them at the top of the new students even before anything had begun!
Naturally the two of them didn't know how rare it was to have gold stars so they didn't say anything in case those with lower tiers wanted to riot against the two brothers. After a while, the homeroom teachers of every class starting from 1A to 1F arrived. For some reason four out of the six homeroom teachers are females which made Ye Qin think "Dafuq, is the principal some kind of old pervert?"
Naturally Ye Qin and Wang Tao's homeroom teacher was a female, in fact their teacher is the most beautiful of the four. She had looks that are even greater than Su Guiying and her friend but the most attractive thing about her is that she is about 173 centimeters tall which meant she had long sexy legs that didn't have an ounce of wasted fat making her thicc and sexy in her tight black stockings

Following behind her, everyone stepped through a barrier that was similar to the one at the entrance of the hallway that they first passed through. On the other side of the barrier, three large bridges each with a grand design but had a different color that represented bronze, silver and gold. Crossing the bronze colored bridge, they arrived at another barrier and passed it before finding themselves in front of a teleportation gate. The students didn't need to place their ID's anywhere as they were already scanned when they walked through the first barrier
The entire class teleported together and when they stepped out, everyone saw a majestic sight once again. The entirety of the dorm was filled with bronze, from the decoration to even the fountain water and trees were bronze in color. The dorms itself looked like a high class suite that only the rich could afford which made the silver and above grade students look forward to seeing theirs!
First their teacher introduced herself as Yang Xinyi as she stood in front of the bronze student's dorms. She called out to each of the bronze students separately without mentioning their stars as they all took a key from a box that Yang Xinyi had taken out from the sub space inside her smart watch
Looking around, over a third of their class of 20 students removed themselves from the group and entered the bronze dorms. After all of them entered the dorms, the remaining followed behind Yang Xinyi back to the three bridges and crossed the silver bridge to enter another teleportation gate that leads to the Silver students' dorms
The Silver students' dorms resembled a castle from the outside. Like the Bronze dorms, everything was silver in color besides the natural lake and nature that grew around the dorm. This time a majority of their class was gone. The two brothers realized that Su Guiying and her friend was still with them meaning they too were Gold Students! Naturally, the girls had the same reaction seeing the two brothers whilst one more student who covered themselves in a thick layer of clothes who Ye Qin couldn't figure out if they were a male or female stayed behind with them
Before Yang Xinyi led the five of them to the Gold dorms, Su Guiying's friend put up her hand and asked "Teacher Yang, since we cannot see the students from the other classes even though they should be entering the dorms at the same time. Does that mean that there are many teleportation gates and entrances to the dorms around the university?"
Yang Xinyi nodded and replied "That's right, the way we entered was just one of the many entrances to the dorms, however, everyone still arrives at the three bridges eventually which are then further separated in other subspaces. Naturally, there is a lobby that connects everyone through to the same path which will be the one that is used starting from tomorrow onwards. Also just call me by name no need for teacher."
Su Guiying's friend nodded as she began pondering. Yang Xinyi then brought the class towards the Gold Dorm. The Silver Dorm was already grand enough for it to be a castle, the Gold Dorm is even grander. It was literally an imperial palace that an emperor lived in millenniums ago!
The decorations included two large lion heads on the two sides of the front entrance made out of pure gold. Large pagoda's stood symmetrically around the palace and a huge gold and blackboard that read 'Golden Dormitory' is placed directly above the gate of the dorm. Beneath the dorm is a large staircase that reached over 200 steps which can be avoided by simply stepping into the nearby teleportation gate. Beneath and atop the steps were stone lanterns with intricate designs
Further away from the steps is a large fountain that sprayed water out of a statue of the principal from his mouth. The golden statue of the principal displayed him stepping on a stone tablet that had unreadable characters whilst in the fountain water lied some rare koi that hadn't transformed into a monster and lily pads with golden lotuses sitting on top
On one side of the dorms is a large temple like building with a stone table and chairs where a chessboard and pieces were placed. Next to that, a large pond with a small wooden canoe and instruments such as the guqin and zither lay beside the bridge that reached the canoe
On the opposite side is where large drums the size of cauldrons were placed along with a large bell with a large block of wood that is chained to the roof used to knock on the bell. Near the bell is a well that resembled those from the ancient times of the past and another pagoda that stood over 50 meters in the air
All five students were surprised as they looked at the grand sight before them. Naturally, since Yang Xinyi has seen the dorms many times, she only displayed a poker face as she led the five in front of the dorm. Handing out their keys, Yang Xinyi left the area whilst the five entered the large door
Wang Tao standing in front pushed open the large doors as they creaked, however, the sound wasn't irritating but instead sounded quite soothing which was a surprise to the students. The dorm is extremely large however only five of them stayed there making it seem quite lonely as not a soul was to be seen by them
Ye Qin noticed a sign that read 'Monsters are allowed to be roaming around the dorms' which he pointed out. Since they didn't want to waste any time, everyone went to their rooms and looked around then placed their luggage before heading back out

Back in the hallway where the students all lined up and the principal made his speech, the Bronze and Silver grade students were already there. The principal once again was half naked as he stood atop and looked down on all the students. "Testing, testing, once all the Gold students have arrived, we will begin." Lu Bu said into the mic

Just as he finished his line, Ye Qin's group arrived shortly attracting the attention of the other students. Looking at the signs, Ye Qin's group stood in front of the other students as the principal began talking
"Now that the Gold students have arrived, I would once again like to welcome you all to the Nine Peak Academy. Some of you may or may not already know this but starting from this year onwards, a new rule has been implemented to allow for students to skip a grade or to even graduate early! Naturally, there is a requirement that needs to be fulfilled but I won't get into that. You'll have to find out for yourself, oh but don't feel bad it's part of your training since gathering information is important for trainers." Lu Bu said
Lu Bu then continued his speech for a while before letting everyone go freely
