Chapter 49: Farming
That night, the two found a place to stay for the night as they had dinner and slept until morning. When they awoke, it was early in the morning, and no monsters had tried to attack them during the night.
It could be due to the aura being emitted from their bodies during their sleep, which may be because their monsters are protecting them. The two had plenty of sleep, as they brushed their teeth and washed their faces, before having breakfast.
After breakfast, Ye Qin and Wang Tao looked at the map they had recorded using their memory as well as their smartwatches to create.
"This will be a long journey, we will have to get all of your dragons to roughly the same level. Without the Peak Master to help us, it may take years fighting in just these areas." Wang Tao said.
[Note: He doesn't mean levels like they have in video games.]
Ye Qin nodded, "We will need to go as far as we can, even those Overlords won't cut it unless we can defeat multiple of them shortly." he replied.
"That's going to be tough, we'll need to find their tracks, while also hunt them down one by one. Who knows how long this will take? Even by the end of our third year, we may not be able to find them all." Wang Tao said as he rubbed his chin.
"Well, we'll have to do this as it goes. If our luck is good enough, we may just encounter them all." Ye Qin replied. Wang Tao nodded as they closed the map and prepared to set off.

Flying around, the two brothers rode their monsters and backtracked. They headed back from where they had come from so that Ye Qin could train his dragons.
On the way, they encountered monsters that they had seen in the past. Wang Tao only followed behind to watch, while Ye Qin himself trained his monsters one at a time. It was a truly tedious process.
It was a blessing for him to have many monsters, but at the same time, he needs to spend much more time and effort to raise them. Just a single of his dragons already required many times more effort than regular monsters, but now he has seven of them to train.
Luckily for him, he could spend all the time he wanted in the Abandoned Lands. If he was lucky, he could have some lucky encounters that would raise his strength greatly.
After clearing out hundreds and hundreds of monsters, Ye Qin left some so that they could reproduce and create more for future tamers. Even after killing them, the xp he gained was unsatisfying.
Even after killing hundreds upon hundreds of monsters, the dragons only gained a single level. "Looks like these monsters won't help much, we'll need to go in deeper to fight the stronger ones. At this rate, not even hundreds of years will get me anywhere." Ye Qin said.
Wang Tao nodded as they headed deeper into the Abandoned Lands in search for stronger foes to face against.
Flying for three days, they finally found some monsters that were around level 30. It was a familiar monster that they had faced in the past. If one were to head back to Chapter 14, they would instantly recognize this monster.
They had arrived at a volcanic area that was extremely hot, the two had no choice but to use their monsters' abilities to cool themselves down.
In front of them, dozens of stampeding Blazing Elephants headed in a single direction. The two stopped in front of the group which caught their attention.
The Blazing Elephants saw them and stopped in their tracks as their bodies began turning bright red. The five dragons were called out at once and floated around the Blazing Elephants and transformed.
Their bodies being even larger than the elephants, which were bigger than even mammoths of the past, paled in comparison to the dragons.
The fire dragon spewed out flames that scorched the ground, surrounding the elephants in a large circle. The wind dragon, create large winds that made the fire circle even larger and more powerful, as the wood dragon created vines that entangled the entire bodies of each and every single Blazing Elephant.
Even tho the vines were made up of wood energy, the Blazing Elephants were no match for the wood dragon, which even though was disadvantaged by element, had superior powers enabling it to trap them.
The Blazing Elephants heated their bodies to the extreme, as they attempted to break free from the vines. The wooden dragon then created large earthen slabs from two directions that slammed together, crushing the bodies of the Blazing Elephants.
Bam!
The earth slabs that smashed together created a large shockwave, the Blazing Elephants underneath, were probably crushed to death already. Just to make sure, the ice dragon and the thunder dragon combined their powers to dropped a giant glacial bomb on top that exploded upon contact.
Just before the glacial ball dropped, the earthen slabs disappeared into the earth instantly as if they had never been there in the first place.
Boom!
The glacial bomb fell as the Blazing Elephants were crushed to death.
Ding! Ding!

"That's more like it." Ye Qin thought as he nodded in satisfaction.
"To think the enemy of the past could now be killed so easily." Wang Tao said.
Once the Blazing Elephants were all dead, the two collected all their body parts that were still good to sell, before heading off to find more monsters.
After searching for a few hours, they found another herd of monsters. This time they were cow-like monsters, which were about the same level as the Blazing Elephants.

[Element: Fire and Earth]
[Additional Info: A monster that resembles cows, they live in volcanic areas, where lots of heat is generated at all times. They produce a special kind of milk, that can power up fire type monsters.]
"To think we'd actually find Earthly Flame Cows, it seems today is our lucky day, don't you think?" Ye Qin asked his best friend.
"Hehe, we can make some good money from this." Wang Tao replied with a grin.
"Well then, let me take care of them." Ye Qin said as the five dragons resumed the combination attack that they had used just against the Blazing Elephants.
Moo!
The five dragons combined their might to unleash a devastating combo at the Earthen Flame Cows. None of them could escape as all of them died instantly.

Flying down, Ye Qin observed the corpses of the Earthen Flame Cows. Even though they were all crushed to death, he had made sure not to crush them completely, in case they would damage the sack that stores the milk they produce.
Ye Qin got off the Qiulong and wore gloves on both hands, he came up close to one of the corpses and started rummaging through them. Grabbing them with both arms, he used all of his strength, in order to reach his arm in the grab the sacks.
Slowly, he grabbed out the sack that stored the milk. Just taking out a single one of them took over ten minutes for him. It was a tedious task, but it was worth doing.
At some point, Wang Tao helped after watching Ye Qin do it, their speed increased considerably, and it wasn't until four hours later, did they finish taking out all the sacks.
Every sack they took out was stored away in their smartwatches. Once they were done, they flipped the gloves inside out and stored them away along with the corpses.
After storing everything away, the two brothers prepared to leave the area and continue their search. Suddenly, Ye Qin felt a strange presence in the area.
Wang Tao didn't feel it at first before he kept still, and heard a slight movement in the air. The two brothers looked at each other before heading to a small crevice in the ground, for some reason, even though the herd of Earthen Flame Cows was running, a baby one was hidden away inside the crevice all alone.
Mo! Mo!
Ye Qin and Wang Tao stood a dozen centimeters away from the crevice, where the small cow was hiding. It had probably created the crevice after seeing its friends and family get slaughtered by the two humans.

"Oi fatty, this is..." Ye Qin said softly.
"A new species? To be exact, it should be a hybrid between the Earthen Flame Cow and the Frost Ice Bull right?" Wang Tao replied softly after giving it some thought.
Ye Qin nodded, the two brothers looked at the tiny bull, which had characteristics from two different species.
The Earthen Chill Flame Bull was small in size, its body was a mixture of blue, orange, and white but didn't look strange. Rather, it looked quite beautiful despite being a monster that wasn't a unicorn or something similar.
Its body had small armor-like plates that were symmetrical, which protected its back. Its head was the same color as the rest of its body, while its two horns were half-orange and half-blue. Its were hooves were also brown.
Though its face didn't resemble a cow, nor a bull, instead it resembled a horse, but its mouth was not as long nor wide.
Ye Qin was very careful when he approached it, knowing that he could get attacked at any time, he carefully moved his hands forward to touch the Earthen Chill Flame Bull.
The bull itself watched his hand come closer and spewed out a tiny spark of fire. Unfortunately, the flames were slow, so Ye Qin could move his hand away to dodge it.
Moving his hand forward again, the bull didn't attack again, knowing that it would fail. Wang Tao who was beside him tried to help the former. The bull didn't resist the two brothers as they took it out of the crevice that it had created during their onslaught.
As the bull was taken out of the crevice, it felt the warmth of the two brothers as it was being held by both of them. Even though it knew that the two had slaughtered its friends and family, it was as though it could feel the kindness within them, which made it not struggle from their grasp.
Placing it down on the floor, the two brothers didn't know what to do with it. They obviously couldn't kill it, and instead took some photos of it.
"So erm, what now, boss?" Wang Tao asked.
"I don't know, we can't just leave it out here on its own. We can bring it with us, but that's about it." Ye Qin replied.
Ye Qin bent down and said softly, "Do you want to come with us?" he asked it.
The Earthen Chill Flame Bull looked at him before turning to face Wang Tao. It then looked back at him, as it nodded its head.
Wang Tao held the bull as the two of them took flight and headed towards another area, they had spent a while exploring the volcanic area but didn't find any more monsters that would suit their needs.
Since this was so, the two of them flew off in search of stronger monsters. During their flight, Ye Qin thought to himself, "First it was the Dark Gray wolves, and now the Earthen Flamed Cows. Nevermind the wolves, it seemed like the cows were running away from something. If we head in the direction they were running from, we should be able to find what we're looking for."
