Christian sits in the dining room with the guests. Anastasia was busy talking to Linda and Alan. Meanwhile, Tina and Peter were also busy praising Christian to his parents.
Christian is not calm here. He is concerned with his best friend and assistant, Jonas. Occasionally Christian looks at Anastasia or Ana, as she is usually called. Ana is beautiful. She is a smart girl from a fairly well-off family. Christian doesn't understand why his parents set him up with Ana. All of this is too sudden. Christian never even thought of Ana as a woman.
"Chris, why have you been silent all this time? Is something wrong?" asked Tina, Ana's mother.
Christian would love to say that he has no feelings for Ana. Instead, he wanted to set Ana up with Jonas because he knew that Jonas had had a crush on Ana for a long time. Even though Jonas never said anything. Christian knows very well that Jonas' attitude is different every time he is with Ana.
"Oh, I'm just a little unwell. I just got back from the hospital and…."
Suddenly Linda stood up when she heard her son was not feeling well. "What's wrong? Are you sick?" she asked. She immediately approached her son.
"Oh, oh. Mom. Relax. Relax. I am okay. No problem!" Christian quickly confirms that he doesn't want his mother to worry too much.
Alan watched his son's expression. He knew enough that Christian was not comfortable in this place. But he did this for the sake of Christian's future. He didn't want his son to go to the hotel too often with wild women who might get Christian in trouble.
"What did Doctor Nick Brown say?" Linda just remembered that Christian has a special schedule for routine inspections every month.
Christian takes his mother's hand and asks her to sit down and calm down. "I am okay, Mom. Doctor Nickjust said I should cut down on alcohol," Christian replied.
Linda patted Christian on the shoulder in annoyance. "I told you not to drink alcohol. Although you are healthy now. But you have to maintain your lifestyle! Alcohol is not good for your health!"
Anastasia's family saw how Linda was very possessive of her child. They know that Christian has been sick and is now healthy because of the operation. But they didn't expect Linda would act like that to her child. Linda is known for being elegant and very polite. But this time, they saw another side of Linda.
"Mom, stop it. They are embarrassed to see you like this!" Christian gestures at his guests.
Instantly Linda stopped. She tried to return to being elegant to her guests. Linda smiled sweetly at them. "I apologize. I was too possessive of My Christian," said Linda.

After dinner, the parents gathered in the living room to chat. Meanwhile, Christian meets Jonas in the back garden. Jonas sat alone and drank beer.
"Why are you here? Don't you want dinner?" Christian asked casually. Even though he knew that Jonas must be heartbroken.
Jonas turns to Christian and shows him his beer. "I don't eat when I drink beer. It makes me puke," Jonas replied.
Christian also sat near Jonas to make Jonas ask. "Why are you here? You should be with your fiancé," Jonas said.
Christian sighed. He knew Jonas couldn't be mad at him for feeling indebted to his family. But Christian doesn't want to take away Jonas' happiness.
"I don't want this arranged marriage. I really don't have any feelings for Ana," Christian said.
Jonas nodded. He knew Christian was never really interested in women. He just wanted to explore a lot of women.
"I know. I wonder too. How come you've never been attracted to women," Jonas said. But Jonas suddenly thought of Natasha. "But you're obsessed with one woman."
Christian shudders. He raised one eyebrow. "What do you mean? Obsessed? With whom?"
"Natasha Collins," Jonas replied.
Christian immediately pouts. "I don't have any feelings for her. I'm just curious because she keeps making my heart feel weird. I never knew her, but it feels so weird when I see her. I feel like I've known her for a long time. It's really weird," said Christian. "You know why I can't fall in love."
Jonas shook his head. "To be honest, I don't know. You don't want to hurt the girl you love if you die one day. That was your reason before you had the operation. Now you are healed. You don't have to be afraid of anything. You can fall in love and date…." Jonas was suddenly silent. He remembered that Christian was betrothed to Ana.
Christian smiles bitterly. He then hugged Jonas. "I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, Jonas," Christian said.
"Hurt me?" Jonas didn't understand.
"You like Ana. I know you have liked her since high school and…."
"Chris." Jonas interrupts Christian. He smiled. "We have nothing to do. Why should you apologize? You deserve it. Not me," Jonas said.
Christian knows that Jonas is lying. Jonas is a figure very close to Christian. He knew that Jonas was lying to himself right now.
"I don't want to get engaged," Christian says.
"Chris…."
Christian stands up immediately. He didn't want his words to interfere. "I'd rather go to a nightclub and have sex with all the girls out there than get engaged to Ana."
After saying that Christian walked away, he walks into the house and accidentally crosses paths with Ana, who turns out to have been eavesdropping on Christian and Jonas' conversation.
Christian pauses when he sees Ana. There was a bad feeling for her but for Christian Jonas more than anything else. Jonas has been with him since childhood. They are more than just friends. Christian already considers Jonas like his brother.
"Chris," Ana said.
"I'm sorry, Ana. But I can't accept this match. There is another woman I want," Christian lied. Christian just walked away, leaving Ana. He rushed to the second floor of his room.
Ana stares at Christian, leaving with disappointment. Even though she was so happy when she was going to be betrothed to Christian. Who doesn't want the sole heir to the Gibson family? Everything his father had would go to Christian.
Jonas was about to come in because he had to return to work. He also meets Ana. But Ana looks angry at her best friend.
"Don't bother me with Christian. You have to know where you stand, Jonas! Don't dream of getting me!" said Ana. She then left Jonas, who was increasingly hurt by Ana's words to him.
