Chapter 122: Looking for him...

Dad was driving really fast. I was actually scared in the passenger seat as he swerved through the road, possibly breaking some of the laws. I held onto a seatbelt as he zoomed past a yellow light, frightened for my precious life.

"What if he's just at a friend's house? Why are they this worried? He's eighteen. Shouldn't it be normal for him to want to leave the house whenever he feels like it?" I asked, equally terrified as we zoomed past the other cars on the road.

"You better not do that when you're still living under my roof, young lady. You know what? It doesn't matter." Dad says, concentrating on the road. The stress line on his face looked permanently etched on his forehead. I could tell that he really cared for Aiden.
