What stood before them was a dilapidated schoolhouse, its once-sturdy wooden planks now weathered and worn.

The roof sagged in places, threatening to collapse under its own weight, while the windows were long devoid of glass.

Despite its decrepit appearance, there was an eerie stillness that hung in the air, it wasn't empty, Talon could feel it.

With a silent gesture, the Revenant beckoned Talon inside, and as they stepped over the threshold, the sensation of being watched returned.

Talon was sure of the fact that they were not alone inside the run-down school building.

He felt the eyes of more and more people.

'I don't like how this is going."

Talon was on edge, it was dark outside and he needed to wait for the Revenant to finish the process of absorbing the bodies.

The darkness only seemed to worsen Talon's paranoia as he was fearful of the gazes in the school.
