Chapter 144: Mother

The ruffling of chains, the roar of the wind, and a heavy storm brewing in the night sky. Snow continued to fall as rain began to pour down upon the bloody courtyard of the headquarters.

The chains began to rustle even louder, their clinging could be even heard in the heavy storm.

The courtyard, surrounded by three large golden gates leading in from different directions, now only leads to a battleground littered with dead bodies.

Their blood serves as a weapon to the Vampire noble calmly walking towards Paul who did nothing but raise his longsword at the vampire with his right hand, his left hand raised into the air with an open palm, ordering the chains around him.

The Vampire Noble said nothing to Paul, and likewise, the old gifted said nothing either, as the two of them silently assessed each other's weaknesses.
