"Jealousy?" Eve's smirk deepened, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Oh, Miss Carmella, believe me, you wouldn't dare awaken the dormant beast of jealousy within me."

Carmella's laughter filled the air, a discordant melody of amusement. She clapped her hands, her gaze fixed upon Max with a knowing gleam. "How delightful!" she exclaimed.
