Chapter 207: Trouble breathing

Ariana was indeed fighting at that very moment, and she was fighting for her life as she couldn't fucking breathe at that moment. She could feel a familiar sensation, the same one that she had felt whenever Ariana tried to go against the teachings that her mother had given to her.

Tendrils-like fingers were wrapped around her throat and dug into her skin. It was impossible to speak much less breathe.

'You are a flawed product, Ariana, only by listening to me can you live a normal life,' those wild eyes stared at her as her mother held her down by her throat. 'Don't let me down. Don't ever do anything out of the normal, Ariana.'

Those words echoed in her head causing Ariana to stiffen even more. As Ariana raised her hand to touch her neck, there was obviously nothing but the terror she felt was real.
