...

"Only if you survive that long!"

Mika couldn't help but chuckle bitterly at Alfia's parting words.

"She's a true monster!"

He grimaced as a sharp pain shot through his arm.

Using the redirection technique taught to him by Yahweh, Mika had managed to deflect Alfia's attack into the ground.

However, even with his skillful maneuver, his arm still sustained damage.

After all, to redirect a thousand pounds of force, one needed at least a few ounces of their own strength.

Compared to Alfia, Mika's strength was negligible.

And to make matters worse, Alfia's true expertise lay in magic.

"I'm still weak!"

"With my current strength, I might be able to shine in the future Great Feud, but I won't be able to play a decisive role."

"I must become stronger!"

Gazing at the empty street where Alfia and Zald had vanished, a fiery determination ignited within Mika's eyes.

"Next time, I will return that punch!" he declared resolutely.

...

Walking through a deserted alley, Alfia suddenly stopped.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips, growing into a cascade of unrestrained laughter.

"Hahahahahahaha!"

Her laughter echoed through the alley, drawing surprised and annoyed glances from those nearby.

However, no one dared to approach or question her, intimidated by the imposing figure of Zald standing by her side.

"That's enough, Alfia," Zald said, his gaze filled with envy.

Yes, envy.

Mika's existence was proof that the legacy of the Hera Familia lived on. Their spirit had been passed down and remembered by their descendants.

This news brought immense joy to Alfia, who still cherished the memories of their past glory.

Zald envied her deeply.

He yearned for a descendant of the Zeus Familia to carry their legacy and achieve greatness in Orario.

"Are you envious, Zald? I knew you would be!" Alfia said, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

"To encounter that child while we pursue our own desires in this gamble... it was a stroke of luck."

"Is that so? Then I trust you won't go easy on him, Alfia?"

"Of course not!"

A confident smile spread across Alfia's face.

"I will put that child through the most rigorous and demanding test!"

"As expected of you, Alfia."

Zald shook his head, offering a silent prayer for Mika.

He hoped the young man could withstand Alfia's formidable trials.

...

After completing his daily patrol, Mika returned to his Familia's home, sitting silently in the living room, his gaze fixed on the ceiling.

"What's wrong, Mika?" Yahweh asked, emerging from her room, concerned by Mika's unusual silence.

"Where are Airmid and Mellie?" Mika asked, ignoring Yahweh's question.

"Mellie went to the Loki Familia to celebrate the Sword Princess's level up. As for Airmid, she's with the Astraea Familia. She should be back soon."

"I see."

Mika had forgotten about Mellie's commitment to the celebration.

As for Airmid, after Mika and Alise had forged their alliance, Airmid and Mellie, following Mika's suggestion, had befriended the Astraea Familia members.

Since then, the Yahweh Familia and the Astraea Familia had been meeting regularly.

Their relationship had blossomed.

Knowing that Airmid and Mellie wouldn't return for a while, Mika shared his thoughts with Yahweh.

"I need to spend some time in another world to complete the final stage of my Level 3 development."

After over a year of training, Mika's basic stats were nearing their limit.

And since he had already achieved his feat, he could level up at any time.

However, Mika wasn't willing to waste any opportunity to improve.

After all, time was on his side.

"Going to another world directly? That's fine, but wouldn't you mind telling me why you're in such a hurry?"

Facing Yahweh's serious inquiry, Mika hesitated for a moment before recounting his encounter earlier that day.

"Former members of the Zeus and Hera Familias? What are they planning?!"

Although Yahweh hadn't experienced the era dominated by the Zeus and Hera Familias, she held those two in high regard.

"Zeus, despite his womanizing tendencies, was quite charismatic. He managed to forge a powerful alliance through diplomacy and persuasion, giving them a significant advantage in the Heavenly War."

"When I first descended to the lower world, I was shocked to learn about the collapse of their Familias."

"I never expected them to become part of the dark faction."

"It seems someone is orchestrating something sinister."

Yahweh stroked her chin, lost in thought.

"Regardless of their motives, there's no doubt that Alfia and Zald have joined the dark faction."

"We will inevitably face them in the future."

"Therefore, we must continue to grow stronger."

Looking at Yahweh, Mika's gaze hardened with resolve.

While he had known about Zald and Alfia's involvement in the future conflict, he hadn't paid much attention to it.

After all, there were stronger individuals to handle such threats.

He didn't think he would be tasked with confronting Zald and Alfia.

His primary focus had been on increasing his own strength and surviving the battles against the dark faction.

After all, having witnessed Orario's future, he knew that victory was inevitable.

The heroes would triumph over evil.

However, somewhere along the way, Mika had become an object of admiration and respect.

Unconsciously, he had become one of those "stronger individuals."

This newfound responsibility weighed heavily on him. He worried that his lack of strength might lead to the deaths of those who looked up to him.

This was the burden of trust and responsibility.

Therefore, he needed power.

"I understand your thoughts, Mika. It seems you're maturing in your mindset as well."

Yahweh smiled, noticing the determination in Mika's eyes.

In her view, Mika was steadily evolving into a capable leader.

The first step towards becoming a true leader was to recognize the trust others placed in you, bear the weight of their expectations, and prove worthy of their faith.

"You're becoming more and more remarkable, Mika!" Yahweh said, her voice filled with pride.

---

The next morning, Mika woke up Airmid and Mellie and presented his idea.

"I understand."

"Whatever you decide, Mika, we will follow."

"But the question is, which world should we go to?" Mellie asked, leaning back on the sofa with a cup of black tea in her hand. Her tone was casual yet serious. "Honestly, I'd like to go back to the 'Holy Grail world.' With Merlin there, I can improve my strength quickly."

"Unfortunately, that world's cooldown period won't end for another two months. That leaves us with only two options."

Those options were the Demon Slayer world and the Hunter x Hunter world.

Without hesitation, Mika declared, "Let's go to the Hunter x Hunter world."

While his goal was simply to spend time training and push his physical limits, compared to the Hunter x Hunter world, the Demon Slayer world no longer held much appeal for him.

The remaining demons in the Demon Slayer world were relatively weak.

They wouldn't provide the challenging battles he needed to further improve his strength.

Neither the Upper Moons nor Muzan Kibutsuji posed a significant threat to him at this point.

This left only the Hunter x Hunter world as a viable option.

The Hunter x Hunter world was one that demanded Mika's utmost attention.

The abilities in that world were notoriously bizarre and unpredictable.

Many could be considered game-breaking.

For example, during the Yorknew City arc, one of Kurapika's female teammates had the ability to enslave anyone she kissed.

While this ability was easy to avoid if one was aware of it, if caught off guard, escaping her control was impossible without the ability to negate Nen.

This exemplified the defining characteristic of Manipulation Nen: striking first and securing victory.

Faced with the vast array of Nen abilities, no Nen user could afford to let their guard down.

One never knew what strange ability they might encounter, potentially leading to their demise.

Take, for instance, the Phantom Troupe, who initially appeared invincible.

Their debut was marked by an aura of absolute dominance.

However, when confronted by Kurapika, who had just completed his Nen training, Uvogin, the Troupe's powerhouse, was swiftly eliminated.

Why?

Because Kurapika was operating with a significant advantage.

Not only was his Nen exceptionally powerful, but it was also specifically tailored to counter the Phantom Troupe.

This combination made him their ultimate nemesis.

In the Hunter x Hunter world, having an advantage wasn't exclusive to the protagonist.

The world's Nen system allowed for a unique concept known as "Limitations and Vows."

By making unwavering vows and imposing strict limitations on their abilities, Nen users could gain access to even greater power.

Kurapika's vow, for example, came at the cost of his lifespan.

For every second he used his specialized Nen against the Phantom Troupe, he would lose an hour of his life.

A 3,600-fold acceleration of his mortality – that was the price he paid.

Moreover, in the Nen system, sometimes a dead Nen was more potent than a living one.

Take Hisoka, for instance.

In the future, after finally fulfilling his desire to face Chrollo Lucilfer, the leader of the Phantom Troupe, Hisoka would die at his hands. But in death, he became even stronger.

Fueled by sheer willpower and his Nen abilities, he managed to resurrect himself after killing several members of the Phantom Troupe.

This demonstrated the unpredictable nature of Nen.

Therefore, even though Mika was currently quite powerful, entering the Hunter x Hunter world required caution and vigilance.

"The Hunter x Hunter world! Perfect timing! We still haven't fulfilled our promise to Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika, have we?" Airmid said excitedly.

"You mean meeting them in Yorknew City on September 1st? That's perfect!" Mellie chimed in. "We can take a trip to Yorknew City as well. I hear they're going to hold the largest auction there."

"Let's participate and have some fun!" Yahweh added enthusiastically.

"What about the timing?" Mellie asked Mika, her curiosity piqued.

"Let's depart in three days. We need to make some preparations."

"But before that, Mellie, I need you to deliver a message to Finn."

"Finn? Since when do you have connections with the Loki Familia?"

"We don't have a direct connection, but as the frontline commander against the dark factions, it's only natural to share important information with him, wouldn't you say?"

"What information is so important that it requires a personal delivery to Finn?"

"Information that could potentially be related to the dark factions' trump card, of course."

With that, Mika shared his recent encounter with the hooded figures, leaving Mellie in shock.

...

Entering the Loki Familia's headquarters once again, Mellie felt a wave of unease wash over her.

Gone was her usual cheerful demeanor, replaced by a solemn expression.

"Riveria-san, I need to see the Finn. I have important information for him."

"Is it related to the dark factions?"

"Yes!"

Riveria's face immediately turned serious.

Having spent considerable time with Mellie, she understood her disciple's personality well.

Mellie's uncharacteristic seriousness indicated a grave situation.

She was typically optimistic and carefree.

"I understand. I'll take you to Finn."

Riveria led Mellie towards Finn's office.

When they arrived, Loki was present as well.

"Riveria, Mellie, what brings you here? It must be important," Finn observed, instantly grasping the situation.

Upon seeing them, Loki, who was about to pounce on Mellie, stopped in her tracks.

Being a seasoned lesbian, she had a habit of teasing Mellie.

"It's important, Finn. I need to speak with you."

"I knew it was you. Otherwise, Riveria wouldn't have brought you to me."

Finn rested his chin on his clasped hands and asked, "Tell me, what's so urgent that you had to come directly to me?"

"Yesterday, while patrolling near the city walls, Mika, our captain, encountered a man and a woman. He had a brief conversation with them."

"And it was through this conversation that he confirmed their identities."

"Who are they?" Finn asked intently.

"Zald, of the Zeus Familia, and Alfia, of the Hera Familia!"
